First off I would like to say.. the customer service was great the lady was nice and the location was located in a nice area. However the food was big disappointment as a person from the south this food was a huge let down. The rice was sticky cooked too quick the fish didn’t look like how it looked in the photos advertised along with the fish not being the best. I ordered a side of wings the wings was bland not seasoned which was another let down the only thing that was good was the collard greens.

I ordered 4 platters. Two fish, one chicken, and one smothered pork chops. My mom ordered one fish.She told me it would take 35 minutes. It took over a hour and she had a huge attitude when I went to check if the food was done. We live an hour away and stopped on our way home, so we were ready to go. Then her power went out before she could finish our last platter so she ended up refunding it with a attitude. And I only got 3 wings in my platter. The food was ok but not worth the wait or price. Almost 80 dollars for the four platters.Parking: No lot for restaurant, just street parking.

Cynthia's Soul Food is the best soul food in Montgomery County! The food is fresh, well seasoned, and cooked to order! My wife and I ordered (2) platters tonight including Fried Fish Platter and Fried Chicken Wing Platter. It was so much food that we have leftovers for tomorrow! Food, delicious! I found them on the Internet looking for soul food in the area. Only the takeout window was open at the time. I waited a long time for my food but it was amazing. The owner was really nice and talked about future plans for the restaurant. The fish, the yams, the greens, bellísimo!Then, I had an event and bought some catering pans of greens, mac, and yams. Though the greens needed to be wrapped better for travel, my only regret is that I didn’t get more!

Every time I try to order from this place it’s never open. Doesn’t matter the day of the week, the time of the day they are never open despite saying they are open on google and on door dash. I’ve tried calling (no answer) and stopping by ( closed). I would love to try the food but apparently this place doesn’t exist.

I called immediately after because they don’t have options to choose from for condiment s and how well done your steak should be prepared.The owner answered and informed me they’re out of stock. Gives a weak excuse we just opened and haven’t updated the app.Who’s doing inventory? You all knew darn well before you closed the last day you were operating that you were out of stock.To add insult to injury she proceeds to try and educate me on how to get a refund. I know exactly how to get a refund which a headache on the DoorDash app.Based on my experience and the other reviews we should invite Keith Lee.Survive that!
