“Los Compadres is a hidden gem in Norristown's Little Mexico. It's a bit tricky to find --- go up the stairs of the La Plazita Mini Mall; turn the corner and go past the butcher/deli counter. The meats here were some of the best I've had - flavorful and juicy. Try the quesadilla de tinga (make sure to get a corn tortilla) and the tostada de carnitas. Others that look good were Cemitas and Tortas (both are Mexican sandwiches). They give you chips and salsa (a spicy red and an avocado/green sauce). Make sure you order some Horchata to drink so you can cool off your tongue.“
