Had their special smoked brisket chili, and it ROCKED MY WORLD. They really spiced it up for me, and it was delicious. Hats off to your barbecue joint! I'll definitely be back.

The ribs were dry, overcooked, and were clearly not baby back ribs. All of our party questioned the quality as they pulled large tendons (??) out of the ribs. The coleslaw was dry as a bone - fairly inedible. A few of our group even used bbq sauce from my fridge over their sauces as well. The pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and cheddar muffins were good. We have had so-so experiences with Burk’s before but we will never be back after this time.

Definetly one of the best bbq places in the area. May be my personal preference but the sauces are my favorite out of any of the other place I've tried

The brisket and pulled chicken are to die for. Always consistent flavor, tenderness and exactly what your expect from a traditional bbq joint.

It's pretty decent. I am obsessed with the Mac and so is my preschooler. I think their sides are delicious. The aforementioned Mac, collared greens, and bake beans are all great. The meat has a great Smokey flavor. I gravitate toward the pork and ribs. Things a don't love: I've tried the brisket and found it dry. The corn muffins are always pretty dry as well. Note: this place is just take out. They have a table outside but that is it.

4 stars for being clean. Honestly, the place is 3 stars. The beer place next door is unfortunately a little more memorable. I give them a 4 because they are very nice and obviously care very much about what they do, but I have to say this is not the best barbeque in Pittsburgh by far. This place is more of a "smokey" barbeque joint. The last time I got their food I decided I didn't really think it was worth pursuing a second order. Their ribs weren't cooked enough (too "bouncy" and chewy) and their barbeque sauce was forgettable. Those ribs should be sitting on the flame until they are "tear-able" .. and these weren't. I challenge them to improve their overall experience with the meat. I know they work hard on it, but it's too "clinical" .. it needs to have more soul. Sides were nothing to write home about. They delivered on it being barbeque -- no question about that -- but was it "amazing" ? No. Will check back with them. You know the secret to a great barbeque sauce is to hand make it .... with anchovies, or apple butter, or something secret. I feel like this place just made "a barbeque sauce". Sometimes that makes all the difference. Brisket was just not amazing either. Kinda tough. Not fall-apart like you'd want. Not a melt-in-your-mouth experience. You oughta find a way to differentiate. Make a good Jewish recipe. Few offer that in this part of the world.

The croutons are amazing and the big guy with the beard is such a hunk.

This is a fantastic BBQ. The fragrance of smoke drew me there, and I couldn't resist a brisket sandwich and several sides. The meat was so tender it was falling apart, and the juices and tangy sauce make for a mouth watering experience. I would be at a loss to choose only two of the sides. I love the heat of the jalapeno corn muffins. The coleslaw is a healthy dish with oriental undertones. City corn is a great twist to your ordinary sweet corn off the cob. I love baked beans, and the best baked beans are as good cold as they are hot. The cowboy beans hit the spot. The collard greens are the best I have ever had. Burk's BBQ is worth a long drive to Oakmont!

Ribs were definitely cooked to fast on high heat...bought 2 racks and the sizing wasn't there and neither was the meat...sauces are thin and bland wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I stopped by Burk's again while I was visiting in town. It is a little hole in the wall that is a little hard to find, but is well worth it. Everything I've had there is extremely good and the sauces are amazing. This time I got the original sandwich which was brisket, pulled pork and smoked Gouda on a bun. I couldn't put it down. I will definitely come back again if I am in the area. Very glad they've made through it over the last year and a half.

Ordered threw grub hub, lots of meat on the pulled pork. The sauce was a lil to spicy for my taste but still was good on thw sandwich. The Mac n cheese is good taste like there is alot of black pepper in it kinda over powers it a bit, but other then that it's good.

The standard sandwich was tasty and juicy. We’re fans of the vinegar-based bbq!

I wasn't really a fan of this at all the brisket that I got was very tough. The smoke flavor was there yet the meat was not tender.

Such delicious Barbecue. We always get the Pulled Pork Sandwich, collard greens, baked beans, Mac & cheese, & cornbread. Their homemade sauces are so good also.
