“I grew up in Oakmont. Alot of memories at Hoffstot’s. My grandmother loved their homemade blue cheese dressing. In turn, we loved their blue dressing too. Hoffstot’s had a delicious homemade dressing with a ton of chunky blue cheese crumbles. DELICIOUS. Needless to say, this last visit with the Kraft blue cheese was beyond disappointing. Our bartender, Shawn, was a total doll. We LOVED him. Also, we LOVED the chicken parm. Just as I remembered.“

“First time dining at Senti. Not a big menu to choose from, but what you do get is quality. The apps were very good to start the evening and the dinners were excellent. Nice portions and very tasty. Drinks are very good and paired nicely with dinner. We will definitely be back.“

“A truly unique atmosphere! Had a cigar & whiskey in the cigar lounge which was a really unique (speakeasy) like experience.Dining room was very comfortable. It’s an open concept but it’s not loud. Menus are tablets which can dial in allergies or certain profiles you’re looking for with food, wine, liquors & cigars. You can tell a lot of thought went into the little details. Which is impressive.Dinner- venison loin was cooked perfectly & everything that was on the plate tasted great. Sommelier provided great wine recommendations for courses. Server was outstanding. From the moment we walked in, Jim treated us like family and was so excited to give us a tasting of their delicious wines. He worked with our budget, recommended us the amount of wine for our guests, and kept our glasses filled while doing so! He even loaned us a dolly to get the wine back to our house. “Such a nice little spot for wine & cocktails! My friend and I stopped by on a Saturday evening and we were seated immediately. I tried the giggle water cocktail, which had gin, lemon, pear, cardamom, and prosecco. I really enjoyed it and found it to be the perfect balance of sweet and bubbly. They also serve food and some desserts but we did not try them this time. Pro tip: there are also a few parking spots across the street in a small lot reserved specifically for customers of allegheny wine mixer if you are having trouble finding parking on butler street. Overall a great spot for drinks in Lawrenceville!“

“Lovely restaurant with strong and unique cocktails and a menu. I had the bison, and it was wonderful, as was the service and atmosphere. I loved the fireplace on a cold Pittsburgh evening. The power briefly went out, and the servers immediately pulled their phones and used their flashlights while standing over tables so guests could see their menu. Of course, we had our own phones, but I appreciated how, on their toes they were. Great date, upscale, but not too pretentious type of place.“
