Not sure what happened to this place but the food is extremely salty. The chicken tenders and wings were so tuff that I couldn’t eat it. The tenders were dry as the desert and the wings were not tender at all. The corn bread was the best thing. Won’t be ordering again I spent too much money.

Just attended a 70th birthday luncheon there. The food was amazing! Everything was delicious especially the wings. I would highly recommend!I definitely plan to go back.

Wonderful place for a nice romantic meal!Hubz and I decided to try this place for an anniversary lunch. Although you wouldn't be able to tell from outside, this is a nice, quiet little gem.We were seated immediately by our waiter. (I must say, I was surprised that the only waiter in this black establishment was white), just something I noticed. He was really nice and welcoming.Their menu can be found online by scanning a QR.It's pretty straightforward. They have a nice selection of creative dishes.We ordered some wings for appetizers.I ordered Shrimp and Chicken Rasta Pasta. Hubz ordered the fish and waffles dish. He got a ginger beer, and I got a tropical ginger juice.The meal was delicious! Everythingwas seasoned and cooked perfectly!Compliments to the chef! 5 ?After our meal, the owner (I believe) came by and told us about a Valentines Day event they were having with a live band and specials.Along with all my normal ones, we had to take a pic with our waiter as well because he was so friendly.

48th Street Grille NEVER disappoints! It's been a while since I've dined here and they still got it! Service is always GREAT, and the Food is always hot, beautifully plated and just so so delicious. Oh and my daughter and I loved the performer. Ok so I ordered the shrimp rasta pasta and my hubby got the Valentine's Prixe Fixe with the ribeye entree and they both were so good. Oh don't ever forget the island wings, they never miss with them EvER! Now I said this was the 1st time in a minute that we'd been back and all I have to say is "Ribeye I'll be back for You!" Lol! So if its not a permanent menu item it needs to be added please and thank you ?.

The jerk chicken lunch is not worth it. The jerk chicken was extremely dry and hard. It had no jerk sauce on it…. I was giving it 3/5 stars because of the wings. But even the wings were a bit pink/red inside. I paid like $30 through ubereats to basically throw it away. Which is disappointing because I ordered here before and it’s was good that’s why I ordered again today.I called the restaurant and asked for a manager. A man had answered and I explained to him the the jerk was hard and dry and the wings were a little pink inside with the veins red. He says, listen this chicken was marinaded, double baked or fried (I forgot how its cooked but nonetheless it wasn't long enough however it was done) so he said its going to he pink inside... I ordered this before and it was FINE hence why like I said before I ordered it again! After telling him that I ordered here before (the rasta pasta and the wings) and the meat was fine he said ok hold on. I was on hold for 13 minutes and no one came on, so I hung up and called again. A lady picked up and I asked if I can talk to the manager.... she answered as if she's the manager. I asked her are you the manager because the last time I talked to a man and he said he was. She then said he's busy... why not just start off with that instead of faking. She took down my number and said she'll give it to the manager so lets see if he even calls.I think the most unprofessional part is that I paid for this food, it wasn't given to me for free. So if I'm coming with a concern/issue why get so defensive. Especially if l'm coming to you politely. And rectifying the situation isn't telling me to drive to the store to get wings when I ordered from uber. My whole order was messed up, not just the wings.

Lovely restaurant! We tried the Catfish Bayou and added grits. The grits were bland with no taste. The Catfish and cornbread waffle was really good! My partner had the j*** dark and finished it all! Great experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Food is always plentiful and savory! Prices are a bit on the higher end. Dining in is a lovely treat. Sometimes there’s live music which truly sets the tone. I wish them nothing but Sixers success. I pray to see them open up a 2nd location in possibly Mt Airy out Germantown.
