Such a super cute, local family owned business! With breakfast being my first favorite type of food, I decided to give them a try based off of a recommendation from a friend. I'm very glad I did.I called in a pickup order on a snowy Saturday morning. Yes, I know... breakfast is better eaten as soon as it's prepared. A&A is small; however, they do offer a dine in option.I told Michelle, pretty lady upfront with pink (my fave color) hair, I've lived here all my life and have driven by them a thousand times but it's a New Year and I finally made it! I usually check Yelp first for recommendations and they weren't there which is how I overlooked them. They do have very good Google reviews though. What I ordered:The Pork Grand Slam (they offer a turkey and beef option as well) it comes with sausage, 2 strips of bacon, eggs, your choice of grits or home fries and pancakes.I also requested an order of French Toast but they made waffles instead. It wasn't a big deal and the waffles were very good.Michelle advised they are adding smoothies and grab and go options to their menu for the morning commuters or anyone that wants a quick breakfast fix.The service was super friendly, the aesthetic is a whole Philly vibe, everything I ordered was flavorful and the cherry on top is... Their prices!!Please stop in and treat yourself!Cheers! ?

I ordered a simple turkey and cheese hoagie. It was horrible? I specifically told the young lady at the counter what I wanted on it. As I don't eat everything. In fact I can get sick if eating anything unwanted. When I get home bout 15 minutes later. My sandwich is wrong . It has everything on it. And nothing I asked for on it literally. I will nor come back to support you. I will tell all my family and friends to boycott you. You don't listen... you put what you wanted on my food when I specifically asked and told you what was wanted. Food was horrible. You can have my 11.00$.. I will lose way more than 11.00.... keep up the good business... keep on passing by

Great Food ...Great service..

Food - fresh made to order, hot off the grill. Breakfast & lunch 90% takeout. Eggs (never greasy, always perfectly made to order) & hash browns (regular or w/onion & peppers, wow good). And all the regular diner menu stuff - just tastes better. It fits the category of the old slang label, "greasy spoon" but it is not greasy at all - it's well made good food at excellent, affordable prices:0) Service - always happy always polite always friendly. Go there more then twice and you'll be remembered, nice! * something went wrong (Vry rare) it's fixed PDQ, ASAP with a sincere heartfelt apology. Ambiance - well, like a boring diner, 4 tables, a tv showing a dvd movie, nondescript art on the walls. Giant menu board on the wall under the order window. There's a photo board of 50 or 60 regular customers on one wall. It's very clean all the time. I'm not sure how they handle a bathroom? Having seating means you have to have a BR. I've never seen an extra door in the lobby/seating area. * it's really a takeout place. Ok, cool history - like 30 or 40+ years ago it was A&A Steaks - a lunch/dinner steak sandwich + burgers and more place. The current owners made it the Breakfast Hit Spot it is today. They've been "kill'in it" for over 12+ years. Now 2 years ago the City tore it down to major infrastructure repairs below ground. Then the City rebuilt it for them, wow! So, now it's bake on my fav wkend breakfast (takeout). I get: egg n cheese on a bagel (lots of meat choices for the carnivores). Or, 2 eggs over easy hash browns w/onion, peppers 2 prices wheat toast. And/or, usually "and", a 3 stack of homemade pancakes. OMG, so good and filling. The 1st time I did the eggs and the pancakes I wasn't gingery again till dinner, wow! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about the amazingly good, robust, rich taste, quality, what kind of beans are you using awesome C O F F E E. Yup, that's right. And, I have some fancy coffees at my house. Grind the beans fresh and brew, but I love A & A coffee more.

I always had good food until today, she said they were short staff. And it showed, the fish was too salty didnt tase fresh who mess up eggs???, the pancakes was supposed to be blueberry, lemon not fluffy home fries bland no taste at all. Very disappointing I hope she gets a cook real soon, or she will lose business.
