I'm a traveler and was craving for sushi. I was stoked to find this place. The server was nice and the place had a good atmosphere plus all you can eat lunch! but sadly, I got sick from the sushi. I didn't eat anywhere else, and I'm a healthy person. All I ate so far before getting sick was their sushi, so when I say I got food poisoning here, I'm being fair. Now I'm stuck in my hotel trying to recover.

We got Sushi yesteday and developed a stomach bug in the evening that is getting much worse today. We believe it's from eating at this place. Everyone be aware. To the owners, I would advice you take my comment here seriously and follow appropriate procedure to insept the food and the food preparation processes. We are not sure if it's a bacteria or a virus but we have a reason to believe it's a norovirus based on its existence in sea food (citing CDC here). We, however, can't confirm if it's a norovirus or something else.If you got food poisoning from this place recently, please like my comment so others and the owners are aware.

I have been here before for happy hour and AYCE and have enjoyed it a lot. The sushi is not amazing but it is not bad and a great deal. However, I think I have gotten food sickness from this place. Today I got the aki ramen and got it delivered and it has been a big disappointment. It is so salty that it is hard to eat which is strange because last time I liked it.

Worst sushi ever. The eel roll was INEDIBLE. It was a shame it looked great. The fish was chewy like a tire. Had to throw it out. What a waste. And such a hard place to get in touch with, called and no manager. Called again no answer. No email address online.

UPDATE: To the owner who responded. Yes there were several open tables, the hostest just refused to sit me at one. I thought perhaps there was a reservation coming, which is why I said I could wait for a table. She informed me that she wouldn't give me a table, I explained I had been here 5 times before and always had a table. She again refused me a table now in a rude manor, as someone who is handicap having to explain your medical condition to a hostest who is discriminating against you is demeaning. At this point I got Steds name and informed her I would not be returning. A shame to hire employees who are so rude to a nice customer that they will never return.Original review:So i have been here 5 times and will never come again. tonight the hostest (Sted a 20 something thin blonde girl in case she gave me a fake name) refused to give me a table or to let me wait for a table. I am handicap and can not sit at the bar as those chairs are too tall for my back, so very disappointing to be discriminated against.

I absolutely love Aki!! The atmosphere, the vibe and just everyone is amazing!!! Helpful, accommodating, nice and very genuine!!! The drinks are amazing and the food is even better!!! Miso soup ! Great!! Calamari!! great!! Shrimp tempura rolls and spicy tuna roll the best!! Oh the shrimp shumai and edamame is my absolute favorite!!!
