BA LE has the absolutely best bahn mi in philadelphia. i love #4 - the bbq pork. the bread is so delicious and doesn't get crunchy quickly like most other bahn mi.

Prices has increased since Covid. Over crowded and disorganized. There's no sense of first come first serve. Banh mi sandwich has very little meat for their price. Summer rolls meat smells like days old. Never had fresh rolls ever. Shrimps in the rolls smells like been cooked a day or two before. I gave it 3 stars for their cha lua and ice coffee only. Sorry. This place is really over priced.

Food is good but I stay away from anything with shrimp in it. The place is small and gets crowded quickly. I only wished they have some sort of system for customers when they are ready to pay. When it's really crowded , sometimes folks bust in front ( of those who are already patiently waiting )to pay for items and transactions could be longer depending on what else they want while they're at the register.

The Ba Le Bakery is making some of the best Banh Mi sandwiches this side of Ho Chi Minh City. First and foremost is the bread they are baking. I'm going to give kudos to whoever in this place is making these rolls with an amazing French touch to them. Their bread is so good, I would be fine just coming in for these rolls; but their sandwiches are damn good also! I had their Special Combination Pork bologna, pork belly, ham, soy sauce, pate, and mayo served on our mini baguette roll. Garnished with pickled daikon, carrots, jalapenos, cilantro, and cucumber. It was big and beautiful and constructed so well not one crumb fell off or out of the sandwich. I love any kind of Asian food, but Vietnamese cuisine is slowly taking over my #1 spot and this Banh Mi's are a large contributing factor. This place is GREAT!

Some of the best Banh-mi in the city. Highly recommend the vegetarian (tofu) and the chicken.

This place is so good. I hardly ever go to it now because I’m an hour away but if I am anywhere near this, I make a point to stop and grab some yummies. The parking lot can be very intense during busy times (sat and sun am) so you have to be mentally prepared to brave that. Otherwise, there’s not too much more that you need to know.

I came here to buy food and 2 coconut smoothies on February 3, the order number was 601, after driving for a while, my child and I drank, actually this is not a coconut smoothie but just a drink. All shaved ice, nearly $7 a glass, no business at all. We stopped drinking…….please review the service so that no one will suffer like my case.

I love coming to ba le to get my banh tet fix and also the Vietnamese cured meats they have are stunningly delicious. I'd suggest grabbing yourself a quart of the pickled mustard green as well!

Great banh mi with some vegetarian options. I also like getting summer rolls or other snacks! The prices online were the same as in shop last I went. There's a large selection of options to grab and go inside.

Food is fresh however lack taste, it wasn’t as good as I remembered. Just salty. The portions are good but the service is disappointing. We went in the store first and just stood there waiting to be helped. The boy working there acted busy on the screen but he immediately greeted the next customer who came in but was ignored by that person. Later then he decided to help us… like WTH.
