Opted for a spontaneous visit to Bar Jawn with a friend and his client, seeking a quick lunch fix with a must-have cheesesteak recommendation near Ardmore.Amidst the rain and our lack of reservation, the staff kindly accommodated us, offering seats at their communal table. While their service was warm and accommodating, the cheesesteaks were unfortunately heavily seasoned, even for someone who enjoys a salty kick. We ended up taking half of our meals home, realizing later that we should have spoken up about the seasoning issue.Despite this experience, I'm willing to give Bar Jawn another chance in the future. Just a friendly heads-up for others: don't hesitate to speak up if your meal isn't quite right.
This is always our favorite place to visit. Food and drinks are the best in Philly. Our server, Megan, was awesome. Super welcoming and hospitable. She made great suggestions and took time to chat with us for a bit. Loved our visit today. We'll be back soon!
Food is always amazing, and our server (Megan) was the absolute best! Big bonus, we got to try the Stromboli before it officially hits the menu this upcoming week ? also, do yourself a favor and leave room for dessert. Cheesecake eggrolls are incredible!
Visited for lunch on a sunny Sunday. Solid wine and beer list and fantastic food! The only downside was that there is limited seating and we were near the windows. The sun was streaming in and there was no window shade. Not only were we warm, we ate the whole meal with the sun in our eyes! I’m hoping they fix this issue bc it’s an easy fix and the food was truly delicious

Adorable and quaint corner restaurant in Manayunk! When you enter you are welcomed into a neighborhood bar feel. Bar is fun and drinks expertly made. Food is delicious especially the pastas and Italian dishes but there is plenty of more casual Options such as handheld sandwiches. The wine selections are great too! Go here to have a drink and hang at the bar or have a wonderful meal with a table by the window! Love Bar Jawn!

Bar Jawn continues to amaze me every time I go and try something new. Think bar food, but completely elevated. The wings, ribs, cheesesteaks, cottage fries, stuffed long hots, smash burger, and everything else I’ve tried are out of this world! & the guava margarita is one of my favorites as well. I always tell my friends that this spot is a must try if you’re ever thinking about grabbing a bite to eat in Manayunk. Easily some of the best, if not the best, food in the area.
