Good food and good service. Last time we were there, it was just after COVID reopening and they served our entrees before our appetizers. This time was much improved.

We had Chris P as a server and he was delightful! He was so incredibly kind despite the bartender going home early and having to make the drinks himself. He went above and beyond and we appreciated it.

Meals were outstanding, veal Parm over the top, fried Calamari was great. Would have given 5 stars for service but my only issue was they brought our entrees out before we had a chance to eat half our appetizer. (Fried Calamari) we will be back. I will let the waitress know next time to slow the delivery down.

This place was alright. For a Saturday night it wasn’t as busy as I thought and it has a down stairs and upstairs. The server was nice and honest. Mentioning which dishes were the best. They said the pasta was better than the pizza. Disappointing because I was for sure going to try for the pizza haha but I got the basic penne a la vodka and added chicken. They don’t offer you cheese to top your pasta we had to ask for it, and it was in a shaker like at a pizza restaurant not fresh.Their prices are that of more traditional Italian restaurants so I assumed that meant free bread and free fresh grated cheese but no haha. It’s a 3.5 out of 5 for me but Google doesn’t let me do that. +1 for vegan options for my friend though and for serving a big group .Oh another reason for the ding. My other friend places a to go order and they charged him 20% gratuity for a large group on the to go order. He already gave a 20% tip for the food he was actually being serviced for. So yeah not cool

Loved loved loved my experience. Came for a quick drink and was welcomed wonderfully by my server, Mary, ended up staying longer than I expected because of the great atmosphere. I got the arancini, and highly recommend, but can’t wait to come back soon and try the rest of the menu.

This was just outstanding, we ordered two dishes and drinks, the food was amazing. I would recommend what we got, the gnocchi and chicken Parm. Also the service was outstanding, we were in a hurry, and the server made our meal as quick as we wanted but still made the dining experience outstanding and highly attentive. I would recommend this place for all occasions. The vibe is somehow upscale AND approachable, 6 out of 5 stars.

Barra Rossa was recommended to me by a friend. We decided to eat before attending The Walnut Theater. We called and reserved a table for 6PM our show was at 8PM. When we called for a reservations gentleman stated that hostees had step away for a bit, but he take our reservation. We arrived a at 6PM. The host checked and we weren't on the list. The women checked and then stated she can fit us in. She was very helpful and gave us window table upon our request...wonderful! It took a little bit before the man waiter brought water and a menu. My wife and I order mosseralla sticks as a starter and water. The sticks was the best I ever had, a unique taste sort of meaty, but good. Meal we order a salad with strawberries, she kept stating how good it was. I order Barra "B" burger. I waited a while and our waiter returned and told me the grill stopped working and was unable to to cook my burger. I switched and order a pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. This pizza was also very tasty and hot...really good. This took awhile and we had to constantly remind the waiter we had a show to attend by 8 PM. All the drinks and food took about an hour to be fully served, which was, I felt slow. In closing, food was great graded it A, service needs much improvement grade it a C. I will return when I'm in the area again. It's worth another visit. Having a live band didn't hurt either.

Our initial visit to Barra Rossa was mainly due to its convenient proximity to the Walnut Street Theatre, where we were set to see the evening performance of "Beautiful: The Carole King Story." Although it's not a place I'd specifically travel to the city for, I'd consider eating there again if I were nearby. We ordered grilled salmon with Beurre blanc served over mushroom risotto and grilled asparagus, along with steamed mussels in a white wine sauce. The salmon was slightly overcooked but still tasty, even though the Beurre blanc was a bit too salty. The mushroom risotto was good but not particularly outstanding. The standout dish was the grilled asparagus, which was flawlessly prepared!

My friend and i had a great overall experience on a busy night at the restaurant where we sat at the bar and received great service and drinks from the bartender Amaya who was so nice and attentive despite the flood of orders. The food was very good as well as was the overall atmosphere. I highly recommend Barra Rossa.

Really good. The vodka penne was a tad rich in flavor but still delicious! Just don't get if you're not very hungry lollll. The spinach dip was so so so good, ‍

It's a great place to eat, but certain cooks make certain things different. Have Ryan Walker make your blackened chicken or shrimp.Blackened food is charred seasoning. Not over seasoning then charring.Kid-friendliness: No one fussed or was upset when my toddler cried (even though she was well behaved)
