The main dining hall for the Northern side of La Salle's campus. They serve above average buffet food to students at La Salle. When I attended La Salle, my biggest complaint about the dining hall was about selection and hours. The selection at Blue and Gold varies day to day, but they have constants like the salad bar, pizza, and ice cream. When the meals of the day were something I liked, I didn't mind this lack of variety. But when it was something I disliked, I feel like it was burning my meal plan's money away because of the sides really being the only thing that stayed the same. The hours are also a little misleading. They don't really "open" (in terms of having food available until around 10. And they also take a break from 2 to 4:30 to clean the place, not even allowing you inside until after they are done. Now, I completely understand they need some time to clean the place. But I feel the timing is really awful when you consider a lot of people are getting out of class around those times.Compounding this is the fact that the dining hall closes even before night classes end (9 PM). If they just stayed open an extra hour or two, the people coming from night classes could at least grab whatever food they most likely throw out instead of having it go to waste.Nitpicks aside the staff were always kind, sociable, and helpful whenever I interacted with them. Definitely the highlight of the whole place. For college campus eating you could do a lot worse, but I think clear problems with variety and time management hold this back from being a more solid place to eat.

buffet food... super delicious. Service is awesome even when they are busy. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. It has a cool feel to it.

Fun place on the LaSalle campus to enjoy some tasty food, with lots of choices. With nearby restaurant choices virtually non-existent, this place serving better than average campus food is a logical choice when visiting your student on campus. It is bright and clean and no one will leave hungry.

Miss Vanessa is the best! Now the food is buffet style, so it really depends what is on for the day to know if it is good or not. The soup is always on point, though! Did I mention that Miss Vanessa is the best?

I come here every once in a while with my fellow coworkers. The soups are usually on point, my personal favorite is the New England Clam Chowder. The food here is more or less your standard fare of burgers, cheesesteaks and sandwiches but they have daily and weekly specials. Average entree price is $5 and drinks are separate. Best advice? Set the expectations low and it can only go up from there.

I only come here for two reasons: Joanne and the bottomless soup. Joanne is a personality plus waitress and the soup is surprisingly good for being made from yesterday's leftovers. Oh and it's dirt cheap.
