Totally enjoyed every aspect of my experience. Last night on a work trip and heard the name of this restaurant 2x today and ended up having a hair appointment near by and was able to walk! I sat at the bar downstairs and had amazing service. Had the enlightenment martini and the cashew chicken with jasmine rice. Hands down some of the best food I’ve eaten!

OMG! Our first-time experience was nothing short of amazing. Our server Vince took really good care of his as we celebrated my husband's birthday. Vince was very versed with the menu and helped us make some really delicious decisions... we're going to be returning customers! Appetizers were pork belly bao and the ribs . Entrée steak and sea bass

I went for my birthday and the service was exceptional. My server was a pisces so she already earned some points just for that. Her food recommendations were right on point. She definitely knew her job! The atmosphere was really nice. I enjoyed myself.

We dined at B for our anniversary. Our server was wonderful as was the food. A shout out for the edamame dumplings and the Peking duck. We love the lobster rice so much we took an order home.

Always great food here, inventive, unique and inspiring. top notch wait staff, a pleasurable experience. My only minor complaint is that it is loud , which makes it less ideal for larger business dinners. But the impressive menu makes up for that.

This restaurant used to be so good. But the food was inconsistent. None of the food was hot. They were overly focused on when to bring the food, it was clear it was left waiting under heat lamps. The service was slow, but not fine dining slow, just- where is my server slow. Even the drinks (water and iced tea) too a long time. I ordered the lobster. It was cold, bland, and the rice and vegetables were soggy and mushy. For $50, it fell way short. The shrimp lo mein, Caesar salad and donuts were the surprising highlights. Overall, I was disappointed with the food quality. This was a favorite for so many years. I doubt I'll go back. Bummer. What used to be a true Starr restaurant gem is just a fancy looking place with mediocre food and service.

The crispy calamari salad and Korean fried rice are among the dishes we ordered that I like the most, they are delicious. Other food is good too. Portions for entries are big especially for rice and noodle dishes. Service is quick and great. It's a little bit noisy.

Greg is such a great restaurant manager. He was very accommodating and thoughtful. Also appreciated our dining service with Luka. He was sweet, patient, and informative about the food. I love the atmosphere, the ambiance, and the service. Definitely will return! Thanks for the chocolates, Greg!

Our experience at Buddakan was none short of amazing. We arrived ten minutes before our reservation and were offered to sit at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready for us. We ordered a drink each (2 people) and closed out the tab. We maybe took 2 sips of the drink and our table was ready. We were sat, and our waitress was so friendly and pleasant to speak with. We ordered the rock spicy shrimp bao buns and veggie fried rice and split it between the two of us which was enough because we weren't that hungry but wanted to come to Buddakan for a night cap. Overall our experience was a 10/10 and we'll be visiting again and are excited to visit other Buddakan locations!

There is a reason Buddakan has been around so long - the food is consistent. That said, we found it a bit too formulaic - can get much more interesting food in Chinatown and elsewhere. But Buddakan has a following and so it hits the mark for many people.
