There was a baby mealworm in my food. I had someone else look to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I am so disappointed and disgusted.

Sunshiney service to match the sunshiney food. What a delightful way to start a day, first ones in the door, hot, flavorful coffee offered to us within seconds. We went with the lemon ricotta pancakes (bright, tender) the Huevos Rancheros (smoky stick to your ribs flavor profile) and an egg Philly cheesesteak on fleshy pretzel roll. Everyone raved about their food, delivered quickly and with genuine friendliness. Bonus for those with nut allergies—they are aware and helpful.Dietary restrictions: Clearly marked items that contain nuts and some gluten free options too.
Lift! Does lift you up! The atmosphere is amazing the service was exceptional and my dish .. well I ate my wife food cause there was something I didn't like but they took care of me immediately! Price is right enough tables that you don't have to wait much.. drawback.is parking.. there isn't any. But I forgot about that as soon as I started to eat

Food was pretty good - everything on the menu is a bit unique and exciting! I got the grain bowl which was served to me room temperature, but had a great mix of flavors still. The rest of my group got sweet items and I tried and loved the Jersey Madame and the pancakes. No reservations and expect a wait, but a fun spot to check out! Lovely service and atmosphere, too.
A good brunch place to try in Philly on the Board and Spring Garden street. The cafe is small in area, seating arrangement is very close to each other and very noisy inside. We went for a weekend brunch and the wait was for around 45-50 minutes. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, mushroom toast, and Brie and leek toast. The food was scrumptious and we loved the platter presentation. I highly recommend their Ube Hazelnut latte!!

Man, this place is simply awesome. We had breakfast: huevos rancheros, blueberry pancake and granola/ fruit bowl. These were so tasty. The drip coffee is smooth, hot and so good. And the bacon might be best I’ve had. Gotta go eat at Cafe Lift. We will be back for sure!
Absolutely fantastic breakfast- the food, coffee and service are each terrific. Our group had a lovely meal and will be most happy to return again soon.

Service was great.I got pancakes and a mocha latte. Both were very disappointing. Not only were the pancakes not good, they had lots of black residue from the pan (assumingely due to not being cleaned well) this crusty residue really ruined the pancakes and had a strong unpleasant taste. The mocha latte didn’t taste much like mocha, which I realized at the end was because the syrup was never mixed and just sat at the bottom.I was very disappointed by the food especially after reading other reviews claiming these are the best pancakes.

Visited Cafe Lift at their newer Spring Garden location on a beautiful March 2024 Sunday. Overall, we had a good time. I wish there was a bar for drink options, but it being BYOB does present other advantages. The coffee we tried was tasty, and the aesthetics inside were phenomenal throughout. I didn't especially adore my dish, but I did enjoy the blueberry pancakes. Wasn't blown away, but definitely a solid brunch addition to the area.
