Very cute place to get the best Mì Quảng in the city. The owner is absolutely hilarious but can be mistaken for rude. 10 out of 10 recommended, but be careful of the neighborhood. Attached image isn't the actual product.Parking: Only street parking is available. Sundays are free for metered areas. Side streets are free but difficult to find/navigate.

Where else can you get a $5 banh mi with all the traditional flavors and the best bread ever? The meatball sandwich, the traditional banh mi, the soups, all are incredible. This is the best lunch spot for miles around- very affordable, healthy, traditional food that doesn't lead to a post-lunch crash. Accessible to the El and parking is always easy on Kensington Ave in front of the store. Go, you won't regret it!!

When it comes to Vietnamese food, I've only had pho until this day! Today I had MÌ Quảng ĐẶC Biệt, and it was sooo good!It was a noodle soup with beef, chicken, ham, shrimp, and wide turmeric rice noodles (not vegetarian). The rectangular sheet in the photo is a pressed rice crisp. My Vietnamese friend was initially slightly disappointed because it was "too soupy" than it was supposed to be, but then he approved that the food was really good! According to him, the taste has been moderately well localized to cater to American customers, but not too far off from the taste of the home! The restaurant also sells various desserts, snacks, and sauces. I got flan and crispy rice chips. The only downside of the place is the location and accessibility. I really wish this place wasn't in Kensington. The restaurant closes at 5pm, but they may stop dine-in around 4pm.Paid with cash.Parking: Paid street parking, limited spaces!

Love this little oasis in the middle of the hood. True mom and pop shop that serves different food than all the other run of the mill Vietnamese restaurants. Additionally they are the only place that opens early for all you early people and they have the best ice coffee with a hint of chocolate in

Loved the food here! We were in the area and were craving viet food, so Cafe Mi Quang sounded like it would hit the spot. We ordered the Mi Quang with pork and shrimp and then the Bun Bo Hue. I thought the broths were both flavored very well and I enjoyed both dishes equally. I would highly recommend coming here if you're nearby -- such a hidden gem!

The cafe is located on our way for deliveries. Hubby took me here once and I'm hooked. We often try this place as soon as it's open. Flavorful with good amount of serving with generous ingredients! We are def regulars ever since.

Recently visited Cafe Mi Quang and I was impressed! I got the Mi Quang Ga (Chicken), the chicken was seasoned with what tasted like kaffir lime leaves, and the noodle soup was flavorful and authentic. The exterior makes it look like a hole in the wall, the portion size is pretty good, but they have a cash-only policy. The owner and servers are kind.Would recommend and come back the next time I'm in Philadelphia!
