I use to go here before covid every Sunday after church. We started going back shortly after, but then we stopped because they were catering more to take out. We started coming back since January. Today is our final day of patronizing a dishonest business. Arrived around 11:12, didn't get food until 11:55. A table that was behind me got served before we did, and we were in there 20 minutes before them. The nasty, disrespectful chines person who sits at cash register gave part of my food to that table, then tried to give it to me when they told her it wasn't there's. I asked for something different. When my food finally arrived, it was cold. I lost my app

The food was not good and the waitress was crying because senior management humiliated her in front of everyone. I’ll never go back. I use to go all the time before the fire. Now the management is nasty and so is the food. They have to stop treating their staff like slaves. Condescending and disrespectful.

No frills diner that makes a quality breakfast at a good price. Great potatos. Chicken was hot and fresh out the fryer, so hot and fresh it squirt hot oil on my gf's face! The poor waitress was really busy though. Get that woman a busser!

If you like the wait. Then be my guest. But I sat here for a hour after ordering my food, and watched customers come in order and eat. Meanwhile out of 2 tables we occupied two of my sons got there food ate and we still waited. I don’t know what goes on in the back. But it is the worst.Oh wait I’m still sitting here completely annoyed!

The interaction between the senior management and the wait staff in front of customers was uncalled for. If the manager has an issue or needs to explain something to your staff, pull them to the side and handle it. You shouldn't yell at your employees in front of customers.

A friend recommended #cedarparkcafe. So we went on Monday night. The wait staff was great. The problem was when we wanted some addtnl condiments; ketchup, mustard, etc. The Asian female manager lost her mind and put on an unnecessary display at the table in front of the other customers. She wanted to charge us $1 extra for each item. The main problem was her attitude, not necessarily the cost. I will not suggest this restaurant if the manager is there. Her actions were uncalled for.

Look, you're not coming here for the ambiance (although it's decent, it's just not primarily a sit down restaurant). You're coming for the breakfast platters and service that gets you in & out with a smile on your face.

I used to live in the area and went to sit-in and eat many times! They actually know my name and order at this point! Usually people go for chicken and waffles but this place serves chicken and French toast! I've haven't tasted anything like it! Although the area may drag a few stragglers non the less the food is good.

The food was awful. Had to dump salt and pepper on everything, still no flavor. Hospital food tastes better. The grits came out cold for my fish and grits order . The toast was burnt and the fish was greasy and hard. There was only 1 piece of fish at that. Never again .

The food is always hot and fresh for breakfast and they have some of the best coffee in the city. I have never been disappointed with the service.

A true neighborhood establishment serving classic, pared-down diner fare with a Philly lean. The menu is simple - this isn’t a Greek diner with twelve pages of options - but they have all the basics and then some, and everything is delicious.Best of all, this is truly a community spot; you’ll find everyone from old heads to college students to grandmas and their grand babies happily sharing space and enjoying a great meal. It can get crowded on weekends because it’s popular, so be prepared to wait a couple of minutes for a table but know the wait is worth it.Vegetarian options: You can get most options without meat
