I have both had takeout and dined in at Chatayee. Food is always delicious and I appreciate all of their vegan and vegetarian options (there is even a separate vegan menu!) The waitress I had was incredibly sweet, lovely, and knowledgeable of the menu! I was with a big group and she handled us with grace and ease.

This is some of the best pad see ew I've had in a long time. The waiting staff was friendly and checked in on us enough to make sure we had what we needed, but not so much that they distracted from our conversation. I'll definitely be back!

We went to a Thai restaurant for the first time. Peculiar food, quite spicy even considering the low level of spiciness we asked for. For example, the dish in the photo with a candle is not a spicy warm chicken salad with various ingredients in a sour sauce reminiscent of a marinade. While you don’t eat this dish, it doesn’t smell very good, but it tastes very pleasant and makes it easier on the tongue when dealing with a spicy dish. We also ordered the chicken and beef entrees, which were spicy but the salad and cocktails helped cut the heat. It is for the taste that I will give 4 stars, but only because I did not like Thai food as much as any other. They cook for a long time, we waited about 30 minutes, but this is not a problem, after all, this is not fast food, but a decent gourmet place, you can wait. Also the mocktails were great. The service was excellent, polite and calm, we were very pleased with it!Vegetarian options: There is a separate green menu for vegetarians.
My FAVORITE Thai spot in Philly, hands down. I’ve been there atleast 10-20 times and they never disappoint. Food is always on 10! Highly recommend.

After more than 10 times of traveling to Thailand I stopped counting. The food here is great, not too authentic but it has its charm. The tung thung is a must, made to perfection massaman was great, same for the slow roasted lamb. The raw mushroom dish was basically all the mushrooms out there in vegetables salad, Didn’t work out for us.Cocktail menu is decent, can be more to match the Thai food.Alli the waitress and the other staff were very nice and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Great food but very slow service. When we arrived there was about a 30 minute wait. We were seated, and it took a while to get our drink order and to take our order. The food also took a long time to come out, and we had to constantly flag servers down to ask for things. The decor in the restaurant is immaculate and very authentic. The massaman and roti, pad thai and pad kee mao were all really delicious! The Tom kha soup was ok, but I've had much better. The portions are huge. We all had leftovers. Would definitely come back again.
