Let me start by saying I enjoyed my lunch. Two things it was my first time to this establishment and I probably will not return. I was visiting from out of town and was at Jefferson U, so it was within a very close proximitey. Having said that I expected much more from this establishment. My sandwich was not the best Philly cheese steak I have ever had, it may have been a traditional cheese steak but not the best I have ever eatten. I ordered incorrectly and did not get cheese sauce on it and that sucked. The green peppers were massive but cooked well. The hoagie was fantastic and the meat was decent. All in all it was an ok experience but while in Philly I expected something much better.

Ordered a chicken Philly and steak Philly the meat is bland literally no seasoning, the Sautéed onions didn’t even have flavor. This place is definitely overhyped and not worth the price!

My search for the perfect Philadelphia Cheesesteak is over; Dalessandro makes the best I've ever had, hands down. Quality meats, cheeses (American + wiz made it perfect) onions (and added pepperoni) made this a cheesesteak to remember.They also make them to travel with wax paper in between the bread and ingredients, ask for it and some wiz on the side to assemble at home, toast your bread, heat the meat and cheese and put it together at home!I may have to move to the northwest Philadelphia area to be nearer to thee.

There’s two places in Philly that are my go to for a delicious flavorful steak that’s consistently on point and these guys are in a constant fight in my brain and stomach with Jim’s Steaks. I’ve never had a bad steak from Dalessandro’s. Also the staff are super cool and respectful! I like to keep my steak simple, American cheese, fried onions, ketchup and mayo. If you want a super satisfying cheesesteak, show them some love, I usually grab 2 steaks !PS their steaks so good I forgot to take a picture ? I got yall next time !

Vegetarian perspective Obviously this place is always ranked one of best cheese steaks in Philly but I was curious to see if they have anything for vegetarians. They did! I got the provolone hoagie and wow they loaded the provolone and other toppings. Very methodical process from ordering to pickup was quick and seamless. Note it's cash only Would definitely return!

I came here all the way from Long Island just to try the cheesesteak. It did not disappoint. It was the best that I have ever had. I had it with some sweet peppers, fried onions and ketchup. My order came out in 10 minutes. D’Alessandro’s is a must try!

Parking tip from a frequent flyer - set your gps for one of the houses further back on Wendover Street for easier parking. 9 times out of 10, your GPS will direct you to park on Henry Street because the physical location of Dalessandro's is on the corner of Wendover and Henry. Parking sucks on Henry Street.
