I ordered Zha Jiang Mian. I was disappointed it had no sauce, not what I expected. It tasted ok even without sauce.Parking: Plenty of parking.

Best deal in the area for dinner sized noodle soups (beef, pork, etc). Look in the "noodle" section for soups. Most are still only $9 - $11. And don't forget the soup dumplings !The waitress is always friendly and the place is always very clean. Thanks for letting me unscrew the light bulb to make it more atmospheric...lol

Best General taos chicken I have had in years. The shredded pork in garlic sauce was great. My daughters liked the steamed pork soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and chicken in garlic sauce. Will definitely be going back.

The food is really tasty, there's so much to choose from, not many drink options but that's alright, one negative thing is that the cups were not cleaned properly. The service is good, the waiters are nice and cooperative. The ambiance very peaceful and the music is mellow. Overall, you should consider visiting.

What a shame more people don’t know of this restaurant. It’s like finding treasure in the northeast area. Service was prompt. Next time we will be sure to tell server when to bring different dishes so everything stays hot. Peking duck was delish even though it seemed to be a very small duck. Hot and sour soup was the best I’ve had in years. The table has the appropriate condiments like vinegar and chili oil and dumpling sauce which you rarely see. The bao were wonderful…Chinese broccoli and garlic yum. They have popular dishes like general tso and chow fun which is my favorite noodle dish for next time. Go there… you won’t be disappointed.

When did Dim Sum Factory open in NE? Never know their existence until recently. For whatever reasons, these dim sum places is not flourishing in NE Philly. The two other dumpling/dim sum restaurants on Castor Avenue didn't survive before and after covid. I really do hope this place does. I was really craving for soup dumplings one day and it was the only thing I would eat. Google and found Dim Sum Factory of Krewstown. Order XLB, Shanghai Shuimai, and Roast Duck Noodle Soup. The Pork Soup Dumplings and Shanghai Shuimai definitely hits the spot. It was so good that I barely wants to eat the noodle soup lol. I guess I'm a little biased after eating XLB because the noodle soup didn't taste too well, it was kinda bland. Our take out was really good last time, that we decided to dine in. I'm so glad that DSF is open on Christmas Day. I have to order XLB and Shanghai Shuimai again. Along with Scallion Pancake and Beef Pancake. XLB, Shuimai, and Scallion Pancakes were definitely delicious. I don't know what's that green vegetable they put in Beef Pancake, not scallion or cilantro, it got a really weird taste to them. Hubby order General Tso's Shrimp which he says is ok. I end our meal with Sweet Rice Pudding. Some part of the rice pudding were hard as rock, maybe didn't heat up too well? Won't be getting those again. Definitely will return for their dim sum menus.

this place should be packed with hungry customers. there is nothing like it in northeast Philly. The food is terrific. Service is prompt. Maybe two prompt, hot and sour soup was the best I've had in years. Schumm were wonderful. The Peking duck was a half order of a very small duck, but it was really good Chinese broccoli and garlic was delicious the pan fried dumplings were wonderful, one of the best parts of the meal were the condiments on the table so you could personalize your dishes with vinegar or chili oil or dumpling sauce. You never see these spices on tables anymore, and it was a welcome addition and a shore sign that it would be good go there with a few people if you want to and sample the other dishes they have traditional favorite Chinese meal dishes like general so chicken and chow fun noodles and fried rice so there are something for everyone. Please give this place a try and don't let it disappear.

Would highly recommend the pork soup dumpling as well as the chicken and garlic sauce. The food is very fresh and authentic. The place is clean and the server was friendly. My husband got general Tsos and it was crispy with fresh steamed broccoli. We would both return. It is also BYOB !
