Easily some of the best pizza I’ve had in the city. Out of the three pies we ordered, the Mortadella Square was the crowd favorite. Might make it a goal of mine to try their whole menu.

Amazing, Delectable, Homey, and great. At dough head you don’t just get pizza, you get a bustling little shop with passionate owners and staff. THIS PLACE WAS BUSYYYY!!! But it didn’t stop the owner from having some fun with us and even offering us some soda for the long wait. There is energy and love in that kitchen. And it does translate to the Pizza. Delicious and one of the bests I’ve had in a while. Dough Head you were worth it!

Update:One of the best pizza I’ve ever had in Philly. The dough is very nicely kneaded and cooked. The flavor is perfect for the one I got and can’t wait to try other topping combinations. Also Slice app sucks, and lesson learned: don’t let a delivery app ruin your anticipation for a great pizza.Original comment:It’s been more than an hour since I order my delivery on Slice and I have nothing but form customer service of Slice telling me the driver is out deliberating my food. Damn why is it so hard to make the order on time or just don’t put your estimated delivery time that short. Pizza is great.

Really enjoyed the crust . You could tell that there was time and effort put into it. Had a great texture. Crisp but still had a chew. I got to try two slices, and both were great for their own reasons. The veggie slice had a freshness that you usually don't find at pizza places. The peperoni slice had great ratios to the ingredients. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you can tell where the money is going. There aren't really cheap slice shops in philly anyways, most shops charge similar prices and use lesser quality ingredients here.

Got "the upstairs neighbor" one of the best specialty pizzas I've had in a long time! I would recommend extra cheese because that seemed to be all this pizza was lacking! Good to know for next time and there definitely will be a next time! The caramelized onions were delicious! We also got the pie cooked well done. Which in our opinion worked out perfect for the amount of toppings they dump on this pizza!

I grew up in CT/NY (affectionately called the "pizza belt") and I know good pizza. I've lived in Philly for over 10 years... most pizza I've tried has been trash. Dough Head wins! The most delicious pizza I've had in this city!
Amazing slices and whole pies. Staff is super cool. In a city full of mid pizza, Dough Head is in a class of its own.

Obsessed! As a Brooklynite we know good pizza... this right here, is just that! The dough is exquisite, the sauce had sweet notes, the pepperoni (siiigh) and love the creativity of the menu. It's nice to have a place out here to remind me of home. I can't do 5 Stars - might be because of the atmosphere tbh.

It’s honestly such good pizza that I hesitated for a second to write a glowing review for a momentary fear that there will somehow be less pizza for me. Elon Crust was just fantastic. This place isn’t exactly the most convenient location for where I live, but I will happily inconvenience myself for this pizza every time.

Got the Grateful Veg pizza and it was fantastic. I’m from NY and NJ and am pretty picky when it comes to pizza. I’m glad I stumbled across this gem from a Reddit post. The veggies were fresh, every bite was flavorful, and the crust was crispy.

Delicious dough, best I’ve had in Philly so far. 4-stars for inconsistency. First pizza (Malaka) had way too many olives making it super salty (picked them off and we were good to go), the second (Reverse Cowgirl) was perfect, the third (Grateful Veg) was too heavy on the veggie toppings and made it soggy and hard to eat. But even with those issues, they were still pretty delicious.
