There's no denying the food here, tried the birria tacos and it was absolutely phenomenal! Staff were super nice even though I didn't speak Spanish we were able to figure it out and was great! Highly recommend trying it!

Update: went back to eat in and the Birria tacos were nice and crispy. Still very delicious! I highly recommend them. Also recommend the chicken nachos!DELICIOUS Birria tacos! They were so flavorful and the consomé was mouth watering. My only takeaway would be that the tacos were really soaked so they were falling apart a bit but they were so good that it wasn’t even a big deal lol. Also, their name is now “El caracol” I was a bit confused since it was my first time here, I thought I was at the wrong place. The staff was friendly, I would definitely recommend to any Birria taco enthusiast like myself ??

I almost forgot I was eating Mexican food in Philly. Both times, I had a fantastic Al Pastor Chimichanga and Carnitas Quesadilla. Every part of the meal there had its own thing going on. Pretty cheap tooHonestly, my favorite part was the side of refried beans. Perfectly seasoned and creamy with freshly shredded cotija cheese.

Amazing home cooked meals in a cozy environment. The tacos are great. Good spot to dine in before a show next door.

Fish tacos are bomb. Green salsa is nicely hot. Will most def return. (BYOB and eat up at the Rail Park or Love City Gardens, both of which are nearby.)

3.5/5 I got the Birria tacos to go and ate it almost right away. First thing, the birria had no cheese if you were expecting which was fine.. The meat was solid and flavourful. The consomme was decent too but not much was given. The bad part was the soggy tortilla. The tortilla was almost wet and broke immediately when I picked up. It'll become very messy as you eat. The tortilla wasn't well grilled so there was 0 crisp to it. I'll try their burrito next time but until they fix the tortilla situation, I'll prob won't be getting their birria.

Food was ok but the portion for Nacho Supreme wasn't that great but maybe it was a off day for the cook

Use to love it here when the owner was there don’t know what happened lately. Food was not the same the service was worst. Don’t waste your money here.
