The food was amazing! The vibe in this restaurant is so cool and relaxed. It's BYOB so bring your favorite wine to pair with these amazing menu options!

I really wanted to love this mediterranean BYOB, but sadly it fell short for me.We started with the mediterranean tapas plate with pita, hummus, tzatziki and fish salad (no picture). All the spreads were bland and the pita did not taste fresh. The entree was cajun salmon with shrimp, mashed potatoes and spinach. The salmon was excellent, and so was the spinach. The mashed potatoes were cold, and the shrimp was so salty. For dessert, we got the brownie terrine. It was OK, the ice cream was bomb though!

We went here with 8 women and everyone loved their meal. That rarely happens. The service was great. We will all come back.

The food and service at Figs are consistently wonderful, and I feel badly that I haven't written a review until now. I've had dinner there three times over the past 18 or so months and have loved everything I've ordered. Their fish entrees are delicious, especially the salmon. I had an excellent filet a few months ago, and had the lamb tagine last week and loved it. The decor inside is colorful, warm, and reminiscent of Morocco; and the server (and owner I believe) is always very kind and attentive. It's great to have this place within walking distance of our home! Oh, and it's also BYOB, which is an added bonus.

Terrible. Two of my friends already left their reviews of the same experience but Figs denies the truth and calls them defamers. So I'm here weeks after with the entire story. My friends who’s visiting from New York and I went there for brunch on a rainy Sunday and found out it was cash only after we ordered. We didn’t bring debit cards for ATM so we borrowed $62 from another table which was all they have left. The food was mediocre to say the best and the total amount with 15% tip came down to ~$60 which was covered in our budget. However, the tab showed $63 with a handwritten 18% mandatory tip that that didn't show up anywhere before on the menu or in the restaurant. Since mandatory tip is ILLEGAL, we paid $62 and left. After we walked for a few blocks towards the art museum, the waitress with a headwrap ran up to us yelling loudly that if we dont go back with her she's gonna call the cops. She claimed that the 18% tip was lawfully mandatory and that she would have to pay the extra $1.64 out of her pocket(to tip herself) if we don't. We were in awe of her aggressiveness and ignorance. We didn’t go back with her and she told us to never come back, thankfully we won’t.My friends and I still talk about this negative dining experience and that’s why i decided to come back and leave this review here.Edit: the restaurant owners are threatening to contact the authorities. I encourage them to do so. If they are trying to scam customers with an unlisted mandatory tip, it makes me wonder if are they dutifully reporting all of their cash income to the IRS?i’ve removed the recommended dishes, that was accidentally clicked on my part.

Extremely bad service. We were forced to pay 18% tips even though we've already paid 16% which is only ONE DOLLAR less. The waitress even threatened us to call the police.

The food was excellent and the service was just as good! Someone in our party had allergies and they were very accommodating and cautious which was also greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Food was absolutely delicious. The sole stuffed with crab was delicious, as was the baked Brie and the tapas. You can't go wrong with anything, though. The service was EXCELLENT. The staff was attentive and kind. 10/10 would recommend.

Such a lovely, cozy spot for, what I would consider, a home cook meal. I had the baked brie that was sweet and savory. For my main, I had the lamb shank with cous cous. The meat was so tender, it was coming off the bone. And the cous cous, truly reminded me what my mom would make, so full of flavor. Absolutely loved it and wish I had room for dessert! For a comment I saw earlier - they do take card, no need to worry about having only cash. Come and enjoy this little gem!

DONT GO, Not so good food, cash only, and force you to pay tip for 18 percent, we gave them all the cash we got, which is 16 percent of tip already for lunch, but they force us to pay more and THREATEN US TO CALL THE COPS IF WE DONT PAY THE 2

Food and service was good - both the duck and lamb in particular were well cooked. The mussel broth was delicious, though the mussel quality themselves weren't that highIt's always nice to go to a BYOB. Remember that Figs is cash only!
