I was so excited riding past this fish market to see that they were named Flying Fish. The very next day, I contacted the establishment to ask if they really carried flying fish, to which they replied, yes. Went to the establishment, purchased the fish, only to learn that it is not real flying fish, imported from Barbados. The fish they sell is flying gurnards, which don't fly or even look like real flying fish, in comparison. Not to mention, while the fish is edible, the fins contain a mild poison. I threw them away. Would not recommend for anything other than your standard seafood.

I brought fish, I asked for it to be cleaned, bone out and head off. I got home and the fish was not cleaned properly at all.

Pleasantly suprised by this place! I was able to call and get a dozen crabs cooked in 15 minutes. They texted when it was ready and it was an easy pickup! It’s winter so the crabs weren’t heavy but they were VERY FRESH and seasoned well. I will definitely go back

This place is off the hook! We just bought 3 dozen live, large male crabs and every one was lively. It's amazing that we can get live crabs in Philly in February. The people here are super nice also. Great seafood selection all around, but the crabs are excellent.

They have the best seafood ever every time I go There I spend hundreds of dollars to buy bushes of crabs, shrimp muscles, crawfish clams, and i'm never disappointed. I will always go there. I threw alot of seafood party with my family.

I have the “Circular Free Philly” sticker and signed up for the service, yet Flying Fish thinks it’s still ok to shove their menu in my railing. Instead it’s technically illegal and will just end up as litter. I will never use this business because if they don’t care enough to skip one house when they see the sticker, how do I know they care enough to provide a quality product? Poor business practices.

This is my favorite Seafood Market in Philadelphia. The service here is quick and easy the seafood here is always fresh and tastes amazing. This is my go-to place once a week to get my crabs. You won't find any bigger or juicier fresher tastier crabs anywhere else in the city. The staff here are very friendly and nice it's just like being family there. Very nice people and they do great business.
