What a great find! The food was delicious and Ian took excellent care of us. We will be back!

The food was delicious. However, the bartender was AWFUL. He got most of the drinks wrong and then lied about it. Items asked for were never received. Other servers had to keep correcting his mess. It's sad because the food was very good.

Attentive staff, intimate atmosphere no matter how many are in your party. It's rare to find a restaurant with such a talented creative chef, great bartender, professional and engaging staff in a quality atmosphere. I'm really glad we found this jewel to kick off a special night. From appetizers to dessert options the offerings tease and tantalize the tastebuds. Presentation was great and the food matched. A great place for a first date, small group of friends for dinner, a low key happy hour or casual drinks. You won't regret it. My congratulations to the chef and staff. When in Philly again I'm definitely going back.

The food, staff, and ambiance were all fantastic! One of my favorite restaurants I'm the city. Attention to detail and warmth aptly describe Fond

The waitresses are not attentive and they all look unfriendly. The menu lacks any options for anyone who's not looking for bacon/pork. The cocktails lacked decent ingredients such as Egg White.

Tasty cocktails and excellent food with large portions for what the types of food are. A great value. The chicken liver mousse was excellent.

Went here for a friend's birthday and had an absolute blast! Alex and Bella were fantastic and Mike the bartender made a drink to match my colorful shirt. Overall, infinity/infinity service! One of the best times I had in a long time, love them!!

The Culinary Adventures of Tom Coghlan, FB So... Last week I was pondering Brunch... I wanted to try something new... Something different... Somewhere I have never been... A tough order to fill, but with some thought I managed to come up with this... Fond is on the corner of 11th and Tasker. The Chef-owners Lee Styer and Jessie Prawlucki, a husband-and-wife team have a wonderful story. "Chefs Styer and Prawlucki met as students, at the Culinary Institute of America, in 2003. After honing their skills in a few different kitchens, they opened Fond in 2009, then married. Today, they live in South Philadelphia with their two young children. Chef Styer uses techniques he learned working with lauded chefs including Georges Perrier and Jean- Marie Lacroix to transform fresh, seasonal ingredients into a bold menu of globally-inspired dishes. Chef Prawlucki, who worked her way up to Pastry Chef at Le Bec-Fin, prepares desserts layered with flavor and texture, as well as freshly baked breads to complement her husband's dinner menus." They clearly share a passion for food that can be tasted and felt... I found a single seat at the bar where I introduced myself to my server Shane. After previewing the cocktails I naturally ordered The St. Germain Spritz. Elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine, club soda, paying Homage to my friend Beth, who is a representative for St Germain.(See Quality Cocktail in the Valley). It was REFRESHING !!! I started with Escargot chartreuse, hazelnut, garlic, toast. The snails were served in a bowl of melted butter with garlic, chartreuse and crushed hazelnuts. A couple slices of toast that were fried in butter were provided to sop up the juices. They were perfect ! I then ordered The Mushroom Omelet, tallegio, maitake, truffle oil. If you like mushrooms, this is an omelet for you ! The flavors of the maitake mushrooms and the truffle oil dominated the omelet and were complimented well with the tallegio cheese. THIS OMELET EXUDED MUSHROOM FLAVOR !!! It was all beautifully presented on a plate with greens and fried potatoes and toast. A couple more coctails and I was happily on my way ! I REALLY enjoyed Fond, and I will be back for more... I am also interested in visiting their sister breakfast restaurant, The Dutch, at 4th and Tasker !

The food was excellent. It’s enough for me to go back— except the service was extremely clunky and bizzare. The music kept slipping and it was so loud you could barely hear the table you were with. Just very odd service. Could have been an off night !

Fantastic meal! I went with 2 friends and we split the chicken liver pate and crispy pork. We loved them both. I wanted a full bodied red to go with the short ribs and they let me try a few to find one I loved. The ambiance is cozy. It was a bit noisy but we might have been the cause of that!

I went there for a birthday dinner with my husband last night. Everything was on point. The restaurant is cozy, the staff were wonderful and the food was very tasty. They also make very good cocktails. I highly recommend this wonderful neighborhood spot.

We've been coming to Fond since 2013, but this was our first time back in a few years. It didn't disappoint. Chef Lee's cozy restaurant is perfect for intimate dinners. The cocktails are on point, portions are generous but not overwhelming, and the courses are delicious, fresh, flavorful honest cooking without unnecessary gimmicks. You can have a great meal at Fond and feel healthy doing it. Service is personal and responsive. Congrats to the team for continuing a winning recipe here consistently. In a saturated and competitive Philly restaurant scene, Fond deservedly stand out.

My wife and I went on a Saturday evening and had a wonderful meal. The waitress Mia and waiter Ian took great care of us. The bartender Michael made delicious tequila concoctions for us to drink. My wife's meal was scallops Risotto and my skate with risotto was out of this world. ???? to the chef. Looking forward to returning soon. Great date night ❤️
