What we ordered: Baker’s Basket, Continental Breakfast, French Omelet, and a hot latte.I’d recommend the Continental Breakfast if you’re indecisive or if you want a variety in one order, which was fun for me to try. I love the croissants here because they are not too flaky yet still buttery and fresh. However, the scone was too dry for my liking, and the toasted brioche was okay. It was a fun breakfast for us with friendly service.Be mindful of the parking as well, because you’ll need to parallel park and pay for the time you’re there. If you’re even a couple of minutes late, you may end up with a ticket, which was a painful experience for us.

Great variety of teas! Food and service is also good. I've had the croque-madam. The place is not wheelchair accessible.Kid-friendliness: High chairs provided and space by door for the strollers

A wonderful experience all around at FRIEDA.Thoroughly enjoyed the inclusive artful space, the pastry basket and chai latte were delicious and staff are very friendly, providing excellent service. I had the pleasure of meeting David (head chef) and truly enjoyed our delightful conversation, so welcoming and genuine. Just the kind of engagement I seek out and appreciate. Thank you !! A real highlight of my 24 hour visit to Philadelphia. Already looking forward to my next visit to FRIEDA.

This very much reminds me of a place I would go to in Paris for brunch.Simple is more. The food was fantastic. We sampled many different things off the menu and everything was perfectly balanced and plated well. The small water glasses that also are used when ordering a cortado are very fitting for a place like this, yet they are so attentive that you lr water glass will never run dry.Anything that had a level of sweetness, such as brioche french toast, or mini pancakes, were not really sweet which is what you would normally get in America. The almond croissant is simply one of the best I've ever had.The decor is very modern and simple but yet attention to details such as the egg foam underneath the tables to absorb sound coming from the concrete floor. It's this attention to detail that you will find in the service and the food.I highly recommend this place.**UPDATE**We came back the next morning because we loved the food so much, and it's close to where we were staying. They open at 08:00, but it's only coffee and pastries until 09:00. So if you go for breakfast, you have to wait until 09:00. I wish this was posted somewhere.
