Incredible cheesesteaks for such a good value! I've had quite a few cheesesteaks after moving to the city, but this one deserves recognition. The customer service was top-notch and the guy working there was so sweet. He gave me all the recommendations. If you love a good cheesesteak where you don't have to tear the bread with your teeth for minutes this place is it! It's super soft and fresh. I hate it when you have to pull on rubbery bread haha get the cheesesteak as it comes and the green pepper on top to clear out your senses. Amazing for a beautiful spring day. You don't need any extra toppings everything was so well seasoned with a little bit of spiciness! The green pepper was the perfect touch! Also can't beat a $10 cheesesteak! Incredible!!

Me and Su went to George's after we decided the there was no chance we were going to queue for Angelo's.This decision led us to get cheesesteaks and root beer from here.The steaks were phenomenal probably the best we had while we were staying in Philidelphia. Well cooked, flavourful and juicy.While we were eating we got to watch the two geezers make up other people's orders, and they truly made it look like child's play while expertly putting together all manner of different sandwiches.The one negative was the root beers, but this wasn't the staffs fault, we picked it out of curiosity, but it turned out to taste like deep heat. Avoid that drink unless you like deep heat.All in all the best we had and we to like 6 other places.Trust me, this is the oneBig Up George , we'll be back...maybeI'll be in touch

I went and ate after receiving a recommendation from a guide, but I wonder why it was just like that.. There were no tourists and it had a completely local feel.
Atmosphere of 9th street always a win but the service was awful they looked mad that we even walked up too order food then the sandwiches where slimy an 0 seasoning on it but it was cheesy which I prefer other then that wouldn’t waste my time or money here.
