Reservation was for 6:30 and we didn’t get seated till 7s The food was amazing don’t get me wrong, but it took an 1 hour and 15 minutes after ordering to receive our food. Then 15 minutes after we started eating they asked us for any dessert in which we ordered the cheesecake. As soon as we received our cheesecake a server came over and told us the manager sent him over to ask us to pay our bill and leave immediately because they need our table for a bigger party coming in.

This is a fabulous local restaurant and if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there at least twice a month. I was hosting some out-of-town visitors and we enjoyed between the three of us, two plates of pasta and a caprese salad and it was more than enough food and we also enjoyed our red and white BYOB wines. Afterwards we went down a block Dirty Frank's on the corner of 13th and Pine for a nightcap which completed a full circle Philadelphia experience.

Kind of surprised at the high ratings honestly…wanted to love after several high praises. I loved the mussels and clams in the cream sauce — that was absolutely fantastic. And the garlic confit in the olive oil was a beautiful touch. The chicken parm was only a grilled cutlet with cheese and sauce. I wrongly assumed it would be breaded and fried as any CP is but I was wrong. A bit dry and over cooked. The bucatini was OK — needed some zhuzhing which I did when I got home. I’d like to come back in to try the gnocchi.

I was SO excited to finally come here. Came on a Tuesday night as a party of 3. Pasta was good, but the bread+garlic confit and DESSERT were the highlights. We got the rigatoni, bucatini, and linguini with clams. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the rigatoni sauce, but the linguini with clams is good as long as you enjoy clams! The dessert was out of this world though. Got the tiramisu and chocolate cake and thoroughly enjoyed both. If you have to choose one, you have to try the chocolate cake !!Service was a bit questionable though. We had a reservation for 6:30, were fully seated by 6:45 but no one came to take our order until 7-7:15. After we ordered, we waited nearly an hour for our food and I had to prompt the waiter about our order since all the other tables around us (including parties that had arrived after us) were already served. We ended up there for almost 2.5 hrs..I did love the ambience of the place. Would likely give the service another try. I have also heard wonderful things about the ravioli and the chocolate cake was truly sensational.

Food was average, not great and not bad. There are two other Italian restaurants in west Chester that are much better. The server didn’t bring enough menus for the table. We had the olive oil but no bread. It’s a nightmare trying to get in, people barely let you want in to talk to the host.

It's a shame that I have to give service in general 2 stars because there were some there that were so friendly. The gentleman that let us in was very nice and welcoming. The bus boy Alfredo was the sweetest and a hard worker. BUT the older gentleman, who I am assuming was the owner, basically all but kicked us out. We were told when we reserved we had to be out by 6. Reservation was at 4pm so that was perfect. Our bill was given to us a little after 5 and then the presumed owner said to someone "they paid their bill they need to leave" no sooner than 5 minutes later and while I agree with that, we were just trying to finish our drinks. Our waitress seemed friendly at first (middle aged woman with short hair and dark eyelashes and eye liner) but as the time went on was fairly rude. Seemed annoyed by our questions (we had never been before) and was snarky with responses. When she brought the food my mom tried to help and take her plate and instead of saying "I'm sorry the plate is hot" she made a face and snapped back the plate. I will give the food rave reviews because our meals were delicious. But very turned off by staff and felt unwelcome. We went after seeing a show at the Academy of Music and picked that place to finish off a great mother/daughter/grandaughter day. Thankfully we won't let this ruin our whole experience but very disappointed Giorgio!

The food was excellent and the service was good. We went for an event and I just don't think this space was right for it. We also ended up at their 2nd location by accident and ended up crashing another private party. It was overall a nice time and we enjoyed the food, just wish there was more space to enjoy it in.
