Everything we ate tasted amazing. The server was so friendly, helpful, and patient in helping us understand the menu. Drinks were delicious and light. Ambiance was a little dark and moody, which I enjoyed. But prepare for a very dimly lit experience if you go for dinner.

Oddly enough, we didn't formally eat at H&C. However, we had such a high-level hospitality experience that I had to leave a review. Carl (or Karl?), the manager, pulled us in after recognizing that I, like him, am a fellow Wisconsinite. After much conversation and a quick beer and pizza, it was clear that Carl's just a good guy trying to make someone's stay the best he can.I'm sure that if we would have been able to stay for dinner that evening, the rest of the FOH staff would have treated us just as well. Five stars for ulta-hospitable initiative from Carl and the example he set for his team!

Just left one of the most disappointing dinners at one of our favorite restaurants in Philly. The server forgot to put our order in twice and didn’t check in with us for over 30 minutes while we waited for our food each time. After reordering, our steak came out cold and had to be sent back. The waitress never acknowledged or apologized for any of this during our meal. I am in a bit of shock as the service at Harp and Crown is not usually like this.

Speakeasy downstairs with AMAzing happy hour deals considering what they charge for dinner. Tables downstairs are first come first serve. 7$ cocktail (today was vodka lemonade) and 6 beer and wine. There were so many good snacks- the pizza of the day had artichoke and pickled onion it was delicious. Lamb meatballs and whipped ricotta were delish!! The vibe was perfect. I can’t wait to come back !!
A combination of my favorite two vocab: “Brunch”+ “Buffet”. And the food is good! The girls at the reception were so sweet and helpful. Gave us a very good first impression of this place.The service could be improved. The first 10 minutes we sat down, no one stopped by for water or introduction. The server was okay when he was presented in the area. However he would occasionally disappear for quite long time. We waited pretty long for our check and had to have someone else give us the check. After the long waiting, we saw a sprite we didn’t order appeared on the bill. He was able to take it off, but with the waiting we were a little bit out of patience.In summary, definitely will come back and recommend this place. It’s perfect for casual lunch when you don’t know what you want.
