Was so excited to visit Her Place after having been hyped up by a number of friends and was disappointed. The food was decent, the portions were tiny. We picked up a pizza and ice cream after we left. For $100+ per person and a 7 course meal, I want to be fed! That said, service was amazing and I love their mission and local menu... Just eat before you go.

I enjoyed dining at Her Place, I definitely felt like I was having a meal in someone's home. The restaurant is tiny and every table has a view of the kitchen. I dined by myself so I was placed at one of the two window seats. My back was toward the kitchen and I had to turn around each time the chef was describing the dishes. The menu wasn't something I would have normally chosen for myself, it was very seafood focused but it was all around tasty. The main dish was a quail and morels. My favorites of the night were the chicken liver pate with radishes and homemade Ritz cracker. They really did taste like a Ritz but much elevated. My other favorite of the night was the dessert: the rhubarb, cream cheese semi freddo, and meringue was to absolutely die for. You could really taste the cream cheese. Also notable was the sauce Americaine in the quenelle/lobster dish, I wanted to scoop it up and lick the plate. I see people complaining how it wasn't enough food since you had to share, I didn't have this problem, as I was solo and was able to eat full plates of everything. I enjoyed the final touches at the end, giving out cookies and a bag of Chex Mix. Bravo. I'd maybe come back if I were to travel to Philadelphia again. $120 after tax and tip.

A very refreshing experience to have a meal prepared for everyone at once. Genuinely felt like a dinner party. The chef starts the evening by asking everyone to introduce ourselves to the tables to our left and right. This small gesture sets the mood and opens the room up. Even though the meal on paper didn't excite us much - it blew us away in -person. The simplicity of the ingredients, prepared in an elevated way, was phenomenal. Our menu started with Matzoh ball soup, Mussels escabeche (our favorite of the night), beef tartare with fries, sweetbreads, spinach tortellini (our least favorite), a huge portion of half chicken with foie gras, and dessert. We also got the add-on of charred oysters, which was delicious. Solid cocktails too- Rosemary Negroni and Fig Daiquiri.

I was at my computer at 6pm on the Sunday and was able to get my desired day and time to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was incredible. The presentation added to the charm of dining experience. The multiple small courses were enough for a satisfying meal The sommelier was knowledgeable and paired a nice wine with the menu.

Was looking forward to dinner at Her Place Supper Club for some time now and have to say this place is overhyped. 7 courses are normally a good amount of food, but not at Her Place Supper Club. The first four courses were pretty much all served around the same time. The problem is that the portions are small, and these plates are to be shared. The croquettes, beef tongue + potato salad, beets/kumquats/cheese & seeds salad dish were okay. The smoked whitefish course was probably the best out of these 4 courses. My husband and I also ordered one of the specials for an additional $20. It was an order of 4 lightly fried oysters, served atop creamed spinach in their shells. They were pretty good, but I have to say it was too much spinach in each shell. It felt like the restaurant was trying to justify charging $20 for 4 oysters by stuffing more spinach into the oyster shells. The fifth and sixth courses were the most enjoyable. The agnolotti was skillfully prepared. The skin was just thin enough to hold the potato leek soup. For an additional $20/person, we opted for truffles with our agnolotti. The truffles managed to kick this already tasty dish up a notch. And what a delightful warm dish to serve on this chilly night. The pork cheeks were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. I wish we could have more of it. Dessert was a pistachio crème caramel to be shared again. Before we all left, we were all given a bag of duck fat Chex mix to take with us. I have to say, I expected my belly to be stuffed after a meal like this. Not including drinks, we spent $120/person, and it was not very satisfying. The shared plates could be bigger. The portions of the fifth and sixth courses could be bigger as well. Homely food should not cost $90-$120/person.

An exceptional dinning experience, but getting in is a bit tricky. The restaurant opens advanced online bookings in intervals of two week blocks, on the Sunday prior. There are two seatings each night, 6:30pm and 8:30pm. If you can’t get a reservation for the released block time, you can request to be added to the wait list. That’s exactly how I received my dinning spot. The experience is intimate, warm and friendly. It truly is like being invited to a friend’s house for dinner, except your friend won’t be serving you these yummy dishes. The food creations are amazing and the courses numerous. The chef announces each dish before it’s served, explaining the ingredients and inspiration. They also provide an extensive wine list and delicious craft cocktails. Highly recommend!

We went with another couple we regularly hang with. Service was fantastic, all of the food was incredible, and the vibe is upscale, but relaxed. Amanda did a great job introducing the meal and delivering on the hype. Add ons were great too!

I've got a major girl crush on Her Place Supper Club. WOW, just wow! I'm in absolute awe of the dining experience I had last night. Truly a gem. From the music soundtrack, to the amazingly attentive service and all female staff, to the intimate dining setting, to the passionate chefs who took the time to ring the bell and explain every single dish in detail, to making every single person dining in that room last night feel so welcomed and last but not least, to the thoughtfully curated dishes and empty plates left behind begging to be licked - what an epic dining experience + one that both my husband and I will never forget. So happy Presidents Day (Monday) allowed me the opportunity to make it to a dinner during the week. EVERY SINGLE dish I tried, I absolutely loved. Not one bad item on the menu, not a single one!One Recommendation:Get all of the add-on specials, there is no 'going wrong' at Her Place. Try it ALL.Showstopper Dish: Chitarra w. ClamsA big round of applause to Amanda Shulman. Truly impeccable. I'm telling everyone I know that I love her and 'Her Place'.

Her place is definitely worth the hype. I always love a chef's menu, but this place takes it to another level because everyone gets the chefs menu. There are 2 seatings each night and there's a nice community vibe in the restaurant and they encourage tables to take with each other. Then, the chef explains in detail what each dish is and where the ingredients come from. It is such a unique and special experience. The menu changes every couple of weeks based on what ingredients are in season, etc. the menu when we went did not disappoint. Everything was SO unique and delicious. The service was amazing as well! I can't wait to come back and try another menu of theirs!

Great service, phenomenally made food - very unique menu. Loved the intimacy of the space and getting to learn about each course and speak to the chef/owner throughout the night. I can’t wait to go back.
