Broth is good noodles are chewy and atmosphere is decent. Parking lot by mom’s organic validates 2 hr parking if you spend $8. Hiro is less than 2 blocks walk from thereOn a side note, respectfully, I wish the owner would put more attention into the back of the restaurant bathroom. The toilet has a crack in the bowl and floor shows signs of an improperly installed subfloor with signs that the toilet is leaking from the bottom, as there are several wobbly tiles around the toilet. These wobbly tiles make the cracked toilet an especially dangerous thing to sit on. As you might imagine if the toilet fell apart at the cracked seam, razor sharp porcelain can do some sinister things to the occupant. Ask any qualified plumber and they’ll tell you the same. I hope this liability to the store and customers is addressed soon

Delicious!!! Cash only so you have to plan ahead but this is one of my favorite ramen places ever. If you only get 1 thing, get the gates of hell ramen and don’t forget the spice bomb. The vegetarian ramen is also delicious. We always get that with shoyu egg. You can tell they actually put effort into the vegetable broth. The takoyaki and house salad are also phenomenal. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Hiro’s Gates of Hell is hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had. Its broth is extremely flavorful and rich and has a nice spice to it. Every element of this ramen is perfectly textured and delicious. This is a cash only spot but there is a surcharged ATM. Recently, the only disappointing part about visiting Hiro is their new server with the purple hair. She very unwelcoming and doesn’t seem to care about the customer’s request. I’m not sure if she’s just confused but it definitely makes me second guess wanting to revisit Hiro, despite the delicious food

They use frozen, pre-cooked ingredients. The whole space is run-down and dirty. There’s only one functioning restroom left, which did not have working lights and was absolutely filthy.

Cash only to which I have no issues at all but I'd say it's a little bit inconvenient for someone who uses cards for their daily payment and this restaurant isn't the only one who only accepts cash but to other places I've been to so far here in Philadelphia. The ramen was good, I had Hiro's Inch of Heaven and Chicken Soy to which I loved the broth and the meat was good and it was really soft! The egg was perfect with the ramen itself to which I really loved. The service was quick and good and the place has a lot of seating and a nice atmosphere!

Cash only price but has an ATM machine. Seem like a popular place for Ramen, it was my first time although i always walk by it. Prices are reasonable, service was good, restrooms need renovations. We had the heaven ramen and black pic plus the octopus

Ramen was ok at best. Place felt a little rundown and unclean. A lot of decor to make it "seem" authentic but it's not really. The noodle tasted like its store bought. Would not recommend.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Service was absolutely atrocious. Waited no less than 15 minutes for a can of Coke, and another 40+ for our dine in order that became take out because of the wait. 3 parties seated after us yet served before us, with no additional accommodation. Sad to say I won’t be back, and I’d recommend no one else going either.

*Cash Only*( they do accept venmo and have an atm)This place is a philadelphia hidden gem! Upon arrival I was greeted by our lovely waitress Lana. She gave us a window seat, at first I was a bit hesitant because of the size but it seemed small but it was more than enough space for my colleague and I.It was very busy, I noticed that she was the only one working on the tables and what seemed like to-go, bussing too! She did her thing and remained composed and polite. We ordered, she provided our meals, checked on us for more water and asked if our meal was good. Very attentive young woman, which you don’t see to often in the city. Our meal overall with phenomenal, we recommend The gates of Hell & Black pig!We will definitely be back soon! Thanks Lana!

Cash only!!! They have an ATM in the front with a 2.99 fee. No tax for the food. Ramen was good but I think it is not thick enough for a tonkatsu broth noodle. Karaage was not bad either but the coating could need a little more flavor like a pinch of salt or white pepper.

My ramen was delicious and came out quickly. Server was nice. It's a calm lunch spot. It is CASH ONLY but has an ATM. A good price for lunch!
