Awesome Big T

I get a lot of birthday cakes there. We dont do the printed prefab stuff we enjoy an actual cake from a real bakery. We're never disappointed but the cake they made for my son today was exceptional. We did buttercreme icing with chocolate chips and red lettering and they made the combo look beautiful. Tastes good too :)

About a month or so ago I ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday party at school. Not only were they $3 each (yes, I understand everything is more expensive and I don't mind paying), but they were stale and the icing was hard. Also, last summer my mom bought some muffins and they were also stale. I'm not sure what happened to the quality of this place, but it's definitely going downhill that's for sure. The girls behind the counter are super nice and very helpful - that is the only saving grace and why I didn't give 1 star.

There only filling the Creme donuts halfway! Stop being so cheap, you've already raised your prices sky-high! Used to be great bakery. Now definitely not getting what your paying for. Beware when shopping. Plus side girls at counter very nice and helpful. Not their fault.

Awesome little bakery with 2 friendly young women running the place. There's these cream doughnuts that are 2 powdered doughnuts with like a half pound of buttercream in-between and somehow its the lightest fluffiest thing I've ever eaten. Not like a DD Boston cream that gives you that heavy feeling combined with guilt and shame.

So disappointing. Went out of our way to go there for my Mom's birthday. We bought a variety of items (danish, cupcake, bearclaws, creme filled donuts and vanilla pound cake) all but the creme filled donuts were dry and stale.

good old fashioned bakery that can still brings back memories of what the great northeast once was and can be again! if we continue to go to these mom & pop hidden gems that are still around!( only reason i gave a 4 was i was hoping they carried irish bread all year- as this neighborhood was once mostly irish and italian. some of us irish who are still in the area would love to see a local bakery carry year round! i bet so many new cultures would enjoy also!)
