Note: This is a review for awareness rather than of food quality. I do believe the cheesesteaks and fries are pretty good here. However the last 3 days I've tried to order online and I've driven by the store once around 8pm Saturday. The store is closed and GrubHub also says closed despite no changes on the website or any notice about new hours. Calling both phone numbers immediately fails and ends the call. A quick search of recent reviews has shown people have come here over the past month and been surprised that it's closed. Not sure what the deal is here but it would be nice to know if there's a change to hours, they are on vacation, or the store is permanently closed. Just a heads up for anyone planning to order from here. Update: Google says Jimmy G's is temporarily closed. Whatever that means... Would be nice to list it on their website or somewhere outside their restaurant. I walked by a few days ago and saw a for sale sign listed outside their indoor/outdoor seating area but I'm not sure if it was for them or the building next to it.

I've tried maybe 10 cheesesteak places in Philly, and this is the best I've had. They don't do anything dramatically different than other places, they've just found the perfect ratio of steak, wiz and onions and they mix it all together really well. The fries are also really good.

It was cool. My boyfriend loved the pizza fries. My Philly was good but not great as I expected. Would return but wouldn't go out of my way to have it again. Friendly staff.

Not long ago, I got sick after eating a cheesesteak from here. There is no way in hell I would eat from these places again.

Just went there No one is answering the phone and the door is locked. Hungry people beware.

Went with family from the area. They said they were the best cheese steaks in Philly. I went for the lamb and it was AWESOME. I'll be back

Used to live and grew up outside Philadelphia. I came back to town for the 76ers game and before going to hotel thought I was going to Jim’s steaks, arrived at Jimmy Gs. Honestly was hopeful it was a blessing in disguise… unfortunately nothing personal to the Jimmy Gs but it was mediocre at best… not the classic Philly cheesesteak you come across country to share and enjoy… not terrible, just not amazing…

great steaks. walked in 10 minutes before close and they still accommodated me. Left with 6 delicious cheese steaks

Cheesesteak could've used a little more cheese, and it was messy -- but when isn't that the case? Sounds like I'm splitting hairs here. Definitely worth giving a shot if you're looking for a new cheesesteak adventure.

The steak as soo damn greasy and tasted horrible. The beef tasted like pork and I haven't ate pork and 22 years. My first and last time there. Wouldn't recommend this place at all

First time visit Awesome cheesesteak. Cashier was awesome. Guy who gave me my food was also. Asked for a bathroom he apologized but mentioned the Aldi behind had a public restroom. That's service. All done with smiles. Love this place.
