Atmosphere and service were A+. We did the tasting menu and maybe that’s where we went wrong. Portions were super small and dishes were okay. I’m not looking for buffet size portions but seldom have I experienced a tasting menu where I was left feeling unsatisfied and wanting more. We’ll probably try one more time and go the entree route.

Fantastic meal. Authentic French food that is done right. Even better, they’re a BYOB which is a plus. They are known for their duck service, a whole duck that is pan seared in front of you and served table side (just note you MUST order ahead). From the tables around us, this is a LARGE portion. The amuse-bouche was a velvety mushroom soup. We then got the crab spaghetti as an appetizer- fresh pasta, amazing depth of flavor. It was great. Can’t rave enough about the duck three ways (if you still want duck but don’t want to do the whole bird) which was pieces of a duck breast, seared foie gras, and duck pithivier (imagine a puff pastry savory ravioli). For the beef lovers, they have a perfectly executed beef wellington with the most perfect mashed potatoes you’ve ever had. Ended the night with their chocolate tart and berries. Great meal. Can’t wait to come back.Kid-friendliness: Not at all.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step to get into the front entrance and no ramp. I’m not sure if there are other ways to get into the restaurant otherwise.

Overall a great dining experience. The food was good, but not great for the price point. The entree's were a bit flat in their overall flavor profiles. Nothing that would keep me from coming back, but worth noting.

A Salty Surprise, a disappointing Valentines Dinner (2024)!Our early Valentines dinner left much to be desired despite a promising atmosphere and attentive server as the dishes were lackluster. The Dover sole appetizer was drowned in a cream sauce masking the flavors of the fish. The escargot was a disappointment, with a broth that was missing the advertised ingredients such as mushrooms. The entrees were excessively salty and lacked promised vegetables. Even the lobster soufflé which was supposed to be a highlight was disappointingly salty and lacked any lobster pieces. We were so dissatisfied that we refused for the half eaten lobster soufflé to be wrapped up. The other entree was the lamb shank which tasted like overly salted meat in gravy with 2 partial pieces of a half potato and polenta. While the service and atmosphere were commendable the price paid for the Valentines dinner was not justified by the subpar quality of the food.PS. I am not sure if the main chef was working this evening.Parking: Paid parking at the train station a few blocks away if you cannot find paid street parking

My family and I ate at June BYOB several weeks ago and I have been thinking about our meal ever since. The service and food was just impeccable. You can tell how dedicated the chef is to his craft. My wife and I made another reservation for Valentine’s Day. We cannot wait.

We had a special Wagyu tasting menu set. Everything was presented so beautifully, and the flavors worked so well together. I came here with my class but would definitely come back for a special occasion :)

We traveled 2 hours from Northern New Jersey and would 100% do it again. The food was excellent and the service made the meal even more impressive. The butternut squash soup, tuna carpaccio, duck trio and bass were amazing. The sauce was plate licking good.

The food was fantastic as was the service. Restaurant itself is good if a little antiseptic.

Classic French cuisine like it should be done. Unbelievable dishes from duck to rabbit. Fine dining at its best, and the staff is knowledgeable and extraordinarily accommodating.

The only thing I regret is waiting so long to try June BYOB! Here's why I gave it five starsAmbiance: The venue has all the charm expected of a historic building, enhanced by elegant decor - crisp white walls, chandeliers, reading nook by the fireplace and picture windows with a view of Kings Highway's bustling pedestrian traffic.Service: Our waiter struck the perfect balance of warm and professional.Cuisine: I had the scallops and vegetables, an unusual combination of hearty and clean. My sexy dining partner had the pork, which he deemed seasoned to perfection. We were pleasantly surprised by an an amuse bouche of savory pumpkin soup topped with cracked seeds.Price: Perfectly reasonable for the extraordinary craft and care infused into every level of the experience.

My visit to June BYOB was better than I could have imagined! Not only was the food (especially the Beef Wellington) amazing but so was the service. Looking forward to going back hopefully on a Sunday for the tasting menu!

We ordered the 5 course tasting menu and everything was outstanding. Decor is simple french bistro and the staff warm and attentive. There is nothing stuffy about this 5 star restaurant. I want to return and bring family with me.

Amuse bouche to desserts this place knocks it out of the park. Treat yourself to an outstanding bottle of wine (BYOB) and sit down and settle in. From being greeted at the door to a heartfelt thank you for coming and being treated to the amazing floor show for the lucky diner getting the pressed duck you will leave smiling. I'm not posting pics because, well, my photography skills just don't capture the wonderful layers of flavor of our 5 course tasting dinner (well maybe the chocolate mousse paris brest).
