There is always and more than likely a line formed for their food….that tells me everything that I needed to know. Stop by and give them a try, you won’t regret it! Oh, and they take Cashapp?

Approximately about 10 years ago, that's the first time I had try Halal food. The only thing I remember about it that it cost $5 for the platter and a drink. Recently I've heard a lot of great things about Asad's Chicken on Cottman and Boulevard. And Percy's Chicken on Frankford. First I went to Percy's, it was shut down by Health Department(ceased of operation paper). Then I went to Asad's, the line is ridiculously long and they only served sliders and smoothies. We decided to drive a little to Khan's Halal Food. It was empty when we arrived, but that didn't stop us from dinning in. We decided to get Khan's #2 and Chicken Over Rice. The Chicken over Rice was our favorite. The meat wasn't dry or stringy. They weren't stingy on the white creamy sauce. Everything in that platter mix very well together including the brown rice, lettuce and the cucumbers. Khan's #2 gives 2 sliders and fries. I had paid extra for cheese fries. The two sliders meats were very juicy. Even though I ask for hot(one lower spice than extra hot), it wasn't spicy at all. The only thing that I was hoping they do carry is fruit smoothies. Because both Asad's and Percy's carry those smoothies. Unfortunately, Khan's only have sodas, lemonade, iced tea, and half&half.

I called on the phone to order with my order and when I get to the store they said sorry you'll have to get in line and order again... Then after that they messed up my order and fought me about giving me my refund... Very poor customer service and ignorant staff.I don't recommend!

Not only is this some very great food, but the price and portion size is amazing as well. They actually have a storefront now in the shopping center next to Popeyes, but it's not showing on the map yet. Good selection of platters, gyros, hoagies, and other stuff. Good for lunch or dinner. Have had their platters and gyro, all nicely seasoned and made perfectly. And again great price. Definitely worth trying if you like this type of food.

PHILLY! If you know, you know. There's an ample supply of Halal food and Halal food trucks throughout the city but none like this one! They are just different and their food is blessed. I frequently visit their food truck located on Broad & Roosevelt Boulevard where you'll find the one truck with a nice line, or you could luck up and come right before or after a rush of people. You may also find one of the restaurant owners praying on the sidewalk making salah to Allah it's a beautiful thing to see. Part of why I feel the food and energy or their establishments are so different, just blessed. They offer typical Halal cuisine of lamb, chicken, fish and shrimp over rice at the food truck in addition to gyro sandwiches. One of my favs! They are also serving fried flounder now, definitely try it if you haven't already. No matter what you order you will not be disappointed. They are the best in the city, there's plenty like them, but only one Khan's.

Large portions, tasty food, good prices. Pretty much everything you could ask for in a restaurant. And the food is cooked to order. If I lived closer I would eat here every week!
