Awesome mexican restaurant in Fairmount! The restaurant looks small from the front but stretches back into really fun dining room. There is a patio option that would be great on a sunny day. The staff was very friendly and personable. I was seated as soon as I walked in but I did make a reservation beforehand. Our waitress made the recommendation for the Baja tacos and they did not disappoint (9/10) The carnitas tacos were excellent (9/10). We also started with the guacamole sampler, which comes with house chips and salsa. The plain guac was just average, but both the street corn and the spicy tuna guacamole were amazing. My friend and I split a margarita pitcher and they were great! A little sweet but perfectly strong. Easily 4 drinks in a pitcher. Overall this place is great for a first date, catching up with friends, or just some amazing food. Cantina Feliz will definitely be added into my regular rotation.

The service was amazing and the food was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. My waitress was super kind, professional, and attentive. Ambiance is wonderful, I love the decor. A little small in the front when checking in but the outdoor seating is very cute! I had the nachos and chorizo fundido, it came out in less than 10 minutes and the cheese was perfectly melted.

Used to walk here from Poplar St. back in 2015 when the place was still named "La Calaca Feliz." At that time, my favorite dish was the Chorizo Tacos and I'd usually get a margaritas. I'm sure the menu and location has changed a bit in 9 years, but I owe this place a review due to all the good times.
We ordered catering for our daughter's first birthday party. Service was incredible setting it up, pick up was smooth and food was great. 10/10 would do the same again, highly recommend. Jesus and his team are excellent!

We went for happy hour and sat at the bar. The nachos are out of this world! Try the spicy margarita, it was delicious. We got a pitcher of regular margaritas and they were only ok, but staff was nice, the food was good and the atmosphere was great.

The chef is so talented and so passionate about making the highest quality, incredibly delicious food! He takes such pride in his work, he will prepare anything you want, even if it’s not on the menu! The food is fresh, super healthy, and along with everything I have eaten and enjoyed there, their tortilla chips are homemade daily and are the best I’ve ever had anywhere!
