Place has a nice ambiance ,but food and drinks are poorly prepared. My girlfriend ordered a fried fish al mojo de Ajo, but fish was tasteless. Also the mangonada drink is not what a real mangonada should look and taste like. I mean we paid $30 for a poorly prepared fish.

Visited on a Friday that advertised it would have a singer performing. We realized that wasn't the case but enjoyed our food and drinks. I definitely felt a tad rushed by our server, which was odd as it wasn't a busy night. This is a great spot of you're in the city. There's a parking lot next door which is very convenient. Drink and food prices are average for Center City.

The food and margaritas were good but it was overall a disappointing experience. I chose this place specifically to celebrate and surprise my mother-in-law for her birthday. The restaurant website advertised live mariachi on March 8th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. I made reservations for my family almost a week in advance so we could have dinner and see the show for this special occasion. When we got there, I found it strange that it was so quiet. When I asked the waitress about the mariachi, she shared that the band had cancelled due to personal problems. We were devastated! We stayed for dinner but the surprise we had planned was totally ruined! The "enchiladas verdes" had a flavorful green sauce but the chicken inside was dry. Also, the waitress assured us that the lentil soup was not spicy, but it was, and we later learned that "guajillo" which was in the soup, is a type of hot pepper so we should have been warned about that! We had to send the soup back. The "molcajete" dish was really good as it contained a unique spicy sauce and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The margarita was great as they made it nice and strong and added Tajín to the rim. Similarly their "aguas frescas" of Jamaica and Horchata were on point as they were not too sweet. We opted not to have dessert or blowout candles as the night was a total failure but I would go back just to try other dishes and drinks on their menu on a non-special day. The furniture looked dated but the art was colorful and staff were very nice and attentive.
