How have I gone all my life without eating at LeeHow Fook? Or have I been there and just forgot? Anyway, I'm so glad I went recently. I needed delivery, and they deliver. I went with hot and sour soup, green beans, and Fook's noodles. If they put their name on the dish, I assume they are proud of it. They should be--those noodles are delicious. They have the right amount of chewiness, and the sauce is rich and flavorful from the pork. The green beans were also really tasty. The hot and sour soup was just fine. i went to bed with a full belly, lots of leftovers to enjoy later, and a Warren Zevon song in my head.

Amazing Chinese food on the border of Philadelphia’s Chinatown.

Casual, affordable, classics. Each meal comes with hot tea and the food is delicious. We got the wonton soup, chicken egg drop soup, scallion pancakes, and pork soup dumplings. Everything was HOT and fresh. It was clear the dumplings had been pinched together by hand just before serving.

We went for Christmas dinner a gift for our mother, we experienced the worst service imaginable the server was yelling at customers and staff and threw our food at us! The food was awful! The tea was hot water only. We had to ask for rice to accompany our dishes and one dish was just duck skin no meat whatsoever. It’s Christmas and it will be the worst we had! We paid our bill and left! I have never experienced such treatment. I would give 0 stars if I could I actually thought this has to be a hidden video perhaps service cannot be this horrible! Stay away

Went for Christmas Day dinner. It was a total disaster. Everything we ordered was terrible. The worst being beef brisket pot. It was supposed to be savory beef brisket with vegetables. It turned out to be a bowel of fat with about Three or four string beans floating on top. We I refused to pay for that owner had an attitude. Service was also poor.

The food was phenomenal. We had the wonton soup, orange chicken (best I've had), Peking duck roll, and shrimp dumplings. I cannot recommend the duck enough! Good prices too.Vegetarian options: Plenty of tofu and vegetable options

This is my go-to and favorite place in Chinatown. Have been coming here for at least 10+ years. Super casual, no-frills, simple place, but very good food. My favorite is the Buddha panfried noodles with vegetables. Make sure to bring cash as there's a credit card fee if you want to pay by card.

One of my go to casual Chinese restaurants in Philly. Pork buns are my favorite here. Wonton soup, chicken lomein and pan seared pork dumplings are also good. Bbq roast pork and chicken with black bean were also decent options. Service is always fast. Location is small but everytime I have gone I get seated quickly and get served within a few minutes. This is usually the restaurant I choose when I want quick decent Chinese food.

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. We liked the soup dumplings, Peking Duck & fried rice. General Tso's chicken was good, but the sauce was a bit heavier than I like but I still enjoyed it. It's a smaller restaurant with about a dozen smaller tables and one extra large round table in the center. It's not fancy, but comfortable. It also seemed to do a fair bit of takeout too. It does charge a service charge for credit cards and you can also use Venmo & Cash app. We'll definitely come back when we're in Philly.

Best Chinese food in the city. I've been going here since I was born, my parents have been going here since the late 80s.I highly recommend the hot and sour soup, the pan fried pork dumplings, the salt baked squid, beef and Chinese broccoli, and the chicken lo mein (ask for it old style).A must visit every time I'm back in Philly!
