The food was great and the ambiance was amazing. I went there for lunar new year dinner without a reservation and was seated within 25 minutes. The portions are worth the price and everything was seasoned well. However, they missed one of my orders and it was a little difficult to get attention of the waiters. Keep in mind it was lunar new year though. I still really enjoyed this dinner, and would recommend it! I told the waiter that the item never came and he took off the item from the bill without contention.

Ordered takeout from here. Place is located upstairs. There is an elevator if needed for accessibility. I didn't get to see much of the inside dining area, but it looked nice from what I did see! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and my order was ready when I arrived. I ordered the pan fried pork dumpling, spicy shrimp dumpling, and the green beans with mustard greens. Everything was very good! The spicy shrimp stole the show. The texture of the dumpling was perfect with a ton of shrimp inside! The pork was also good, but maybe a little doughy for me compared to others I've had. The green beans were perfectly salty and garlicky... Can't go wrong with some green beans!! I would definitely come back here while in town. 10/10.

Would give zero star if possible! Went to emergency room after a lunch visit on Feb. 4th. I am pretty sure that it is the cause because I did not eat anything before or afterwards. My friend had similar symptoms but milder, while I went to ER due to severe dehydration. Called the restaurant for two consecutive days with NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Already submitted my complaint to the health department for investigation.

Had an amazing experience at Dim Sum House. Our server, Yohan, was outstanding--kudos for providing excellent service, offering fantastic recommendations, and addressing all our queries. The dim sum selection was diverse, and every choice we made was scrumptious. My friend, who was trying dim sum for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambiance is trendy and welcoming, making it quite college-town-friendly. The drinks were also top-notch. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit. A must-try includes the pork and soup dumplings, along with the pork and crab shumai. For spice enthusiasts, the spicy shrimp dumplings are a definite recommendation--delicious with a delightful kick, and they come in a stunning red hue.

Food is always phenomenal. Whenever I'm in Philly, I will always encourage my friends to hit this spot. Staff is always nice, the vibe is always good, and the food is always spot on. I highly recommend their specialty cocktails as well as the Dan Dan noodles. Their xiao long baos aren't the best, but they are not something to miss out on. 10/10, worth going!

Scallion pancakes, dumplings and Dan Dan Noodles are quite tasteful. Very nice aesthetic and place.

I love the hot and sour soup. Does scallion, pancake, wrapped around beef, was a surprise by how much beef there was.

Never order food when hungry. I did and decided to order from Dim Sum House. I ordered safe food I knew. The order of hot and sour soup taste like hot sauce as the base, the Dan Dan noodles; what happen to the sauce? Stuck together noodles. However, the scallion pancake wasn't too bad, slightly burnt but edible. General Tso with chicken and shrimp with walnut, what happen to the sauce. Last the shrimp dumping, sticky but was the prize. Nice big shrimp, but what happen to the sauce. Maybe at the restaurant it much better then take out. Next time I will cook

The dim sum selection was extensive and absolutely delicious! I also opted for a chicken and shrimp entrée, and it was outstanding with just the right amount of heat. The waitstaff was wonderful, addressing all our queries, accommodating separate checks, and allowing individual orders instead of a collective one. There was a bit of a wait upon arrival, but on a Saturday afternoon, I suppose that's to be expected.

Came here for family dimsum and was very good. They have a Shanghai focus so there are fewer of the Cantonese standards (no Jian dui or hom sui gok) but generally good. Also not at all crowded on this Saturday after thanksgiving

We are visitors to Philly and it was a busy Friday night, so I decided to come in to order take out for the family instead of going out with small kids. I was greeted warmly at the reception area. Restaurant vibe is clean and trendy. I decided to have a drink at the bar while I ordered/waited for our food and the attention and service that I received on such a busy evening was nothing short of fantastic. Since we had never been here before, I decided to order a variety of things since there were so many options to choose from. When I placed my order I asked the bartender what he thought of my choices and he said that I would not be disappointed.... BOY was he right!!! From the soup dumplings, to the beef scallion pancakes, to the spring rolls, BBQ buns, fried rice, Sesame Chicken, Dan Dan Noodles and all the way to the Honey Walnut Shrimp EVERYTHING was Amazing!! We will definitely be back

Food was bad. Bland and beef was tough. The host who cashed me out asked if I needed change back. The meal was $19 I gave her a $50. She tried to hustle me for a tip. Thats unacceptable.

I have taken my lab here for lunch several times, and we have always been treated well. The food is great and the menu is quite extensive. There is something for everyone! The prices are very reasonable. Go with a group so that everyone can taste different things.
