Picanha is definitely one of the best brazilian steak houses in the area. The food is always good, tables are clean and they make sure food is cooked how you want it. I would recommend them for anyone who wants to try the experience a brazilian steak. I would just suggest that in the morning; they don’t use any meat from the night before because it doesn’t taste good. Other than that they are always good.

I just wanted to add a review to the 5 stars. We've been coming to Picanha on Castor Ave for almost 15 years but haven't been since 2019 when we stopped eating meat. So why would a vegetarian go to a Brazilian Steakhouse? Because the salad bar is full of amazing Brazilian dishes, many of which are vegetarian. Delicious home cooked Brazilian specialties that are really hard to find in the States. The salad bar (calling it a salad bar is a disservice to what they offer) can be purchased by the pound. It's affordable and delicious, just like getting a home cooked meal in Brazil. The service was excellent, with the servers carefully explaining each and every dessert choice to us before we decided. And do not skip on dessert, we tried 4 different ones and each was spectacular. So, even if you're a vegetarian Picanha is for you! Obrigado!!

So we were so excited to go to this place because if you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, it's a must! I recommend but not this one! We got seated in one of their high top tables close to the bar. The concept of a Brazilian steakhouse is you have a card on your table that you can flip green which means keep bringing the meats or red which means to stop bringing the meats. They have meat servers in dressed up in a cute little outfits that come up to your table with all different types of meats: pork, chicken and steaks. (Can't forget about the grilled pineapple, it was to die for). On top of having a variety of meats, they also have what they call a salad bar. People can head up there and serve themselves like a buffet they had many different sides. They had hot and cold food that compliment anyone who is not partaking in just eating meat. So everything went really well. Our tummy's were stuffed and our waiter came up to us and asked if we needed anything else. I ordered a coffee. We were looking around happy with our decision to eat there. And as soon as I looked up at the bar, I saw what was a 2 inch cockroach crawl from underneath the glasses onto the bar. I told our waiter and he told the guy behind the bar to kill it. At that point and time, I had to rush to the bathroom and dry heave! My fiancé knew I was disgusted and canceled my coffee and ordered the check. I would never go back there again!

I would like to start by saying we went to your restaurant In north Philadelphia. Your waiter was wonderfulYour advertising is very deceiving. I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday. On Facebook your pictures show a very different restaurant than what we walked into. I was expecting exactly what is depicted on your pages. The ceiling is leaking. The decor is not what is shown in your pictures. It is noFault of the employee but the fault of the owner. I thought we were walking into a classy restaurant drove an hour and was shocked. Very disappointing.
