We stopped in on a whim while visiting the city. The food was delicious, the server was fabulous, and it was an overall great experience. Our group shared several small plates and pizza. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will definitely go again and try something else to experience more of the menu the next time I visit Philly.

Had the fra Diablo pasta... for Diablo is normally a spicy dish hence the name. This dish was absolutely not spicy at all! That being said it was tasty and the seafood had a very fresh taste. Should have just been labeled seafood pasta or something like that. My wife had the risotto balls which she absolutely loved

Pietro’s was my absolute favorite Italian restaurant for over a decade! Anytime we had a visitor in the city, we would bring them here! My husband and I were so upset with our recent visit. The worst part was that they removed the family style option from their menu. That was the appeal of coming here!! The prices increased while the portions severely decreased, and the lunch options were disgusting. Better jarred pasta sauce can be made at home. Breaks my heart to say we will not be coming back, and we were embarrassed to bring our friend and make this our eating out choice of the day.
Horrible customer service! Waitress was awful! Never experienced anything like that before! LOVED every single minute visiting Philadelphia , it was absolutely beautiful, lively and a fun trip but the ONLY negative and nasty experience we had was at Pietro’s Pizza!!! Our waitress was very rude, unprofessional and argumentative and the man that came to our table (owner or manager) was just as bad as the waitress!!! Pietro’s Pizza on Walnut was the ONLY bad experience we had our entire week there! It’s a shame! We left and I threw away the cold disgusting “Pietro Pizza” in the trash!

Lovely restaurant with the finest pizza in the city.Vegetarian options: Simply fantastic eggplant Parmesan, the cooks also make lovely food to order
The food definitely looked better than it tasted. I got a salad and the lettuce didn’t Seem fresh and was soggy. The pizza, looked like it was going to be my new all time favorite pizza however even with all of the toppings, wasn’t as flavorful as I expected. It also looked crispy however it was very flimsy. All of us at the table were disappointed.
