Now that they finally dropped the tragic hipster act you can actually just order a pizza which is cool. The pizza is ok. I've had it a few times and it's been different each time. Sometimes good sometimes just ok. For this style of pizza you'll be better to order from Down North pizza these days.

The white pizza is delicious, and the sausage topping is quality! Beautiful service, and the pastries are delicious too!

I would give ten stars if I could. I wish there was a way to pay for a sixth star or something. This place...I pride myself on being a pizza snob and having the palette to know when the sauce is canned. This place is original from scratch, start to finish. The sauce is insanely good. I wish they had more seating inside so we could just sit there and eat for hours. Give them a shot, not your typical pizza joint. WORTH THE HYPE!!

I'm giving this a three out of kindness to a local restaurant but the taste/quality is 2.5 at best. I don't know if they've sold the shop to someone else but this is NOT the pizza they opened with. Thick. Salty as hell. No char. Floppy. No longer special. It's like any pizza shop anywhere except a plain and a margarita for almost $45, and they aren't large pizzas. I don't want to say much more. One of the only formerly good pizza places in Manayunk. Arghhh....

Was finally able to make it into Pizza Jawn to see what the hype is about. Wasn't disappointed. I think this is genuinely some of the best pizza in the city. This spot has a wide variety of pizzas from Grandma to Detroit style to "Round". I sampled a a couple but they were out of their Detroit style. My favorite was the Grandma style. Crust was super interesting, sauce had a great garlic twang nice and cheesy. Also reheats well in the air fryer/oven. The young man at the register was fun to talk to. Great staff.

Cold stale pizza, got the grandma slice. Was very disappointed. The only thing you Nick was the sesame seats at the bottom but I wasn't sure if their pizzas are supposed to be cold.

Dare I say that this is the best pizza I've had in Philly? If you like thin crust pizza, this isn't the place for you. But if you like amazing thick crust pizza that doesn't skimp on toppings and is oh-so-good, please give this place a try. I got a Detroit style pizza with sausage, peppers, onions, and Mike's hot honey. It was so so so so so good. Keep in mind that this place only does takeout orders - they do have 2 couches inside but no tables to eat so make sure you drive fast back home to try your pizza nice and hot.

Best pizza in the area and there is no question about it! The grandma style crust is like something I've never had before...so so good! The only thing is it is quite expensive, but worth it every once in a while and they do have abnormal hours. But overall whenever we want to treat ourself to good pizza this is our go to!

I was driving though manayunk and I finally saw that the doors of pizza jawn was open! I've always been unlucky and never catch them before they sell out so I had to go grab a pie. I opted for the classic round cheese pizza. It is a 16" pie for $18 which isn't bad at all in terms of price. The pizza was good. I didn't know that it was cheese and then sauce for their pizzas. The crust was airy and a little chewy how I like it. The sauce was okay but the parm made it better. Overall I give the pizza a 3.5/5. It was good but I don't see what the hype was... I'm assuming because it's called pizza jawn. The store itself had a cool vibe with couches to lounge in. I did a to go order so I didn't hang out.

It's 6:06 pm and I'm waiting for a freshly made pizza as if it's a daunting task. Twice I've been offered previously made pies as if somehow that's acceptable. What a shame for this hick up while the kid at the counter is so polite. A real departure from my first experience buying pies here.

Get the grandma pie !!!! I had no idea what a grandma pie was prior to Pizza Jawn, but now that I know it exists- it's all I want. The pizza has sesame seeds on the bottom of the crust and it adds a deep savory note to the pie. It also adds great texture! I really enjoyed this pizza! I love the philly pride in its name too.

If you're thinking about buying pizza from here, just do it because you won't be disappointed. The pizza here is expensive but it's totally worth it. The menu is limited but for good reason, whatever you get they will deliver.I tried a simple sesame based pizza with cheese (AMAZING). I didn't think it could get better than that. It's luxury pizza for when you want something different, familiar but good! TIP: They have limited hours so order online.

Worth the money! Sesame seeds on the crust was delicious and made it even more crunchy. We added hot honey and it was the perfect combo of sweet and spicy.
