Just had lunch here! So delicious, especially the chicken. I also had collard greens and lentils (non spicy) and they were also delicious!

Not impressed. I've been here once before, and the food quality is not the same. I got the doro wot and it was not tasty at all. I had to add some seasoning to it when I got home. Also, the cashier was rude. I placed my order on the phone and when I asked her a question about the food, I heard her say, "Oh God!"As if I was annoying her. When I picked up my food and told her to have a good night, she didn't even respond.Over all, Salam Cafe has poor customer service, and the quality/taste of their food is not great. There are better Ethiopian restaurants to go to in Philly!I truly should've left Salam Cafe in 2023.

I've tried a few different Ethiopian places and this is some of the best I've tried. Normally I'm not a huge fan of collard greens but I loved these, they were tender and delicious. The bread was thick and spongey and portioned correctly for the amount of vegetables in the platter. I would certainly return if I were in the area again.

They have really good food, great service and everyone was so friendly. We just happened to be there the day they were doing their coffee ceremony as well. Try the baklava its really yummy.

I walked into the restaurant and I wasn’t greeted. The young lady at the counter was on her cellphone talking and laughing with someone and told me to hold on while she took the call. I waited a few seconds and walked out disgusted. Never got a chance to order anything after being turned off by my experience when i came in.
