Ordered the spicy noodles for take out... was disappointed with the food. First off is that authentic Thai noodles shouldn't have chunks of barely-cooked carrots, green beans and zucchini. Second off is flavor is just not there. Food is edible, its just not great. I got the right order though, so that's a plus. Now, if I found this food in BFE, well, it's a 5 star. But this is Philadelphia, and plenty of better Thai food to be had just around the corner.

Need a tasty authentic lunch before you meander through the Mutter (which has no restaurant)? The dear lady here interrupted cutting and folding her banana leaves to seat a weary traveler taking a few hours of “medical me-time.” Simple and clean, small homely place, only a few steps from the museum. My soup, followed by Tilapia were both super tasty and presentation was impeccable. Belly filled with Thai tasty treats, I took on the museum with vigor and excitement.

I have only done takeout. So this review is for takeout only. But am definitely a huge fan of this fine restaurant. I am fairly new to Philly and have tried out almost all Thai restaurants in the area. But Smile Cafe hands down is the best, 5 star! Their food and service have been consistently superb over the years, even during Covid. I have tried out almost everything on their menu. And I have not been disappointed. I'm so glad you exist, Smile Cafe. Sincerely, your one very happy customer

By far the best Thai in Philadelphia other than maybe Kalaya but you are paying a premium there. This is exactly what you what from Thai food. Best lemon grass soup I’ve ever had. I used to work across the street and would eat here weekly. They recently expanded their delivery radius and I couldn’t be happier!!

We ordered on a late night, everything was fresh and hot. We got the shrimp drunken noodles, fried spring rolls, Thai curry, mango sticky rice, and Thai tea. This was the best drunken noodles I've ever had! The shrimp were large, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Everything was really good and they serve a generous portion too! Can't wait to order again
