A hidden gem on South Street! A great variety of Greek food made fresh. We tried the 2 for $46 dinner and everything was excellent! The beets with skordalia were amazing, and so were the salads. We tried the stuffed tomatoes and the Imam Baldi and we loved both. For dessert we had baklava and galaktobouriko and both were very good. (I apologize for the dessert pictures but we started eating before I decided to take a picture). Of course our drink of choice was Ouzo on the rocks with a splash of water. We’re definitely going back!

I have been coming to this place for over 40 years and not once has it ever been anything short of amazing. Even with the owner change they haven't missed a beat. So happy this is one of my favorite Greek restaurants ever

This is a South Street staple. The menu hasn't changed in decades because it's just that good. I've dined in and gotten takeout dozens of times over the years, and the quality is always great.I love the seasonal Avgolemono soup, and their Baba Ghanoish is some of the best I've ever had. Gyro pita is a great to-go option. Don't miss out on the sides!! Their roast potatoes are heavenly, also stewed veggies and gigantes (roasted Lima beans) taste amazing even for people who aren't usually into vegetables. Trust me!! If you're dining in, do try the whole branzino....so amazing! The owners have been the primary cooks for decades, and you'll see them behind the line every day. An amazing, friendly place that just can't be missed!

This restaurant has been on south street since the late 70s and I can see why. This is authentic Greek food to a T! We were here Valentine’s Day and the restaurant looked the part, and we were big fans of their food. The lamb and chicken kebabs were fire. The sides including rice, potatoes, and hummus were great too. Alcohol selection had plenty of good options to choose from. Looking forward to the next visit here

Everything “looked” delicious. As a Latina I’m used to flavorful food. I got the Macaroni with ground beef for me it was like a flavorless flan with meat and pasta underneath. Well cooked just lacking of a mouth watering experiences or if seeking an explosion of flavor this is not not where to come. Now the kebabs the chickens on a stick for the summertime. They were delicious where in February and we did it indoors but that also lacks flavor. I don’t know maybe today that was in the same cook as always.

Much love to this staple of South Street. You have excellent food and all that but as a person who lives extremely close to your restaurant I cannot beseech you enough to please stop playing the same LOUD polka music on repeat day after day.I wake up to polka music. I go to sleep to polka. It was charming at first, now and then I could get in to it, but now I grow weary of the entire genre. The ATV army that goes by every night as soon as it gets dark is surely annoying, but nothing gets under my skin quite like the same 5 songs being played every moment of every day.I will literally make you a playlist free of charge. Just please chill with the polka or switch it up a little. Change can be a beautiful thing!10/10 for everything else you have going on though, so keep doing what you're doing, minus the polka.

I’ve eaten at many Greek restaurants in Philly / NYC and this place is one of the best. You can tell that the food is fresh and every dish we’ve had so far has been delicious. As others have said, you are doing yourself a disservice if you limit yourself to the souvlaki because there are plenty of other great dishes to choose from. Finally, the prices are very fair!
