I mean. The pitchers are worth it. Food No... Last time I ordered wings which took literally an hour to come out and they we also literally the worst wings I've had in a decade at least.

Just moved to Philly. Best bar around so far! Brean is such a great Bartender. Knew how to make my favorite drink! ( Surfers on Acid) I will definitely be going back!

Definitely a dive bar rather than a gastropub; BUT food was pretty good and the drink worked. Have different theme nights, darts, and hella TVsKid-friendliness: Dinner is not good for kids; maybe brunch or outside eating but yeah dive bar vibe.

First night in Philly so we stopped at a local bar to just get a few drinks. Great overall atmosphere in the bar and our server Brean was super sweet. Definitely felt right at home even though it was our first time and the cheesesteak was great. Definitely recommend and can't wait to come back.

Got a cheeseburger to go and the kitchen completely forgot the cheese. Burger was fine but dry. Odd type of roll ... Fries okay but super soggy once I got them home. I know most fries get like this when they're stuck in a container but still. Ordered from here last year and it was much better.

Got to be honest not impressed. We went there to get wings and we were literally in the restaurant for one hour and left and our clothes stunk like grease and friend food which made us think either the kitchen is dirty or their friers need to be cleaned. It was a gross smell stuck on me all night. Also the wings were so tiny and nothing to them. I’d rather pay more money for meatier wings. Drinks tasted off too maybe clean the taps…

So good I almost cried! I was diagnosed with Celiac over 10 years ago and have had very few good experiences with dining out and managing a true gluten free diet. SouthHouse is exceptional in many ways. The location, ambiance, and service are outstanding. It's a great bar restaurant with great people. Aside from the friendliness and atmosphere, the menu is classic and the GF options are the widest I've ever seen. On top of that, I savored my first cheesesteak in over 10 years! That's where the tears almost arrived. The gluten free roll was outstanding - it was deliciously soft, but held together instead of crumbling to bits! In addition, I had to enjoy some wings and fries as well. Their dedicated fryer is an absolute necessity for those of us that need truly gluten free meals. Now that I've found this gem, I will obviously be heading back and look forward to trying all of the different flavors of wings that are available. Thank you SouthHouse!

I was visiting family in Philly and decided to give this place a try after seeing a few TikTok recommendations about the BEST gluten free cheesesteak in town. So I brought the whole family to try too! Clear sports bar atmosphere so expect a lively crowd during football times. The staff was nice. We ordered the bedrock bites as they were gluten free also, however I found them pretty flavorless, definitely made for dipping into sauces. We ordered the loaded tots but were disappointed when the cheese wasn't melted. The Tots on their own are absolutely perfect so definitely order them! Both orders of our sweet and salty fries were cold and not really enjoyable. My daughter ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and my sister in law ordered the burger, both were disappointed with their meal. The star of the show is definitely the cheesesteak! The gluten free roll was good and the cheesesteak wasn't greasy at all, I loved it! My only advice is if you are a hot pepper fan, get them in the side. I love everything spicy, however the amount of peppers just took over everything and detracted from the sandwich. They are definitely worth a visit and do yourself a favor and get the tots and the cheesesteak, you won't regret it. I will definitely try them again when I am back in town!

This is a Great place! It's a sports bar/restaurant that is very welcoming to all types of people. They have great food, I Highly recommend the SouthHouse burger with a side salad. They make the dressing in house. Karaoke is there every Saturday 9pm-2am hosted by Me, Pirate Pebbs of Dr. Thunder Karaoke. It's always a fun time!
