Came here on a Tuesday and was surprised to learn about the $50 special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You get to choose any Appetizer, Entree & Dessert& get a complimentary bottle of house wine. My sister and I weren't drinking, so they let us take the bottle of wine home. I had the meatballs to start, followed by the gnocchi gorgonzola and finished off with a tiramisu. The portion sizes were great, given that we got it on a special deal. I even had leftovers to bring home. The food didn't really blow me away though. Would I come back to try other items on the menu? Only if the Tuesday/Wednesday menu is still available.

Considering I studied abroad in Italy and lived there as a 16 year old, I know Italian when I see it.At Spasso’s, it’s exactly that. From the Service to the food to the atmosphere. The food was everything Italian. The sauces were blended with home grown Italian spices and the calamari was as fresh a crisp as can be.The Seafood pasta that had can with a red blush sauce. The fresh seafood stood out amongst the sauce although it was very well seasoned. Not to mention, the bread, just like Italy. From the wooden floors to the dim lighting, I thought I had took a trip to Europe and landed in Italy.Spasso’s, try it for yourself!

First time in Philadelphia with family. We did not feel the warm welcome very disappointing.1. Resturant not busy at all2. Hostess not very friendly especially knowing we had 10 people in our party especially 5 kids. Plus we were speaking spanish. (Maybe little discriminatory)3. Upon being seated we were greeted by waitress. However, she disappeared and waiter attended to us. He seemed to have dry sense of humor, rude when asked questions to. And after our dinner he didn't even dare ask if we wanted dessert.Overall for a tourist first time and speaking another language not best place to visit.***Food would be amazing but if atmosphere is unpleasant than that ruins everything else***

The best restaurant in all of Philly. From the exceptional service to the to-die-for food, this place is a hidden gem that you need to experience The vibe is authentic, and the drinks are delicious. Just make sure you save room because you won't want to miss out on their desserts!

This place was excellent. I had the Crabmeat Ravioli and it was (Chefs kiss). It has a nice relaxed vibe and it wasn’t too busy. My gf had the rigatoni pistachio pasta and it was amazing as well. Definitely recommend. Good portions and great service.
