Beautiful place and Food tastes as good as it looks! Staff we're also super kind and food came out quick less than 5 minutes! Would recommend to anyone around

The actual fabrication of the bagels isn't great - they're kind of like the Wonder bread of bagels: overly soft and doughy yet oddly satisfying for kind of the same reason - but they are good at seasoning them. Their pastrami is very good (not surprising considering the company is from Montreal). The cream cheese is heavily whipped, which gives it a lighter, airier mouth feel but also makes it more prone to squish out from the opposite end of the bagel when you bite it.I went at a somewhat off-hour, there was no line and my bagels were ready in no more than 5 minutes.

They can't get an order right at the 20th and Spruce Street location. Busy on their cell phones or gossiping with each other.Probably why no one goes there anymore.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I waited over 20 minutes to pick up an order of uncut bagels and pre-packaged cream cheese. They served people ahead of me repeatedly and only prepared my order after I got fed up of waiting and asked what was going on. The bagels are mediocre and the employees are all rude. Go to the Bagel Place instead!

Bagel was delicious. Got it with sun dried tomatoes cream cheese; highly recommend. Bit pricey

Every time I come here I swear I'll never come again ha. The Club sandwich was kind of what I needed one day when I was reading their menu. Honestly the sandwich itself was good and that's why I'm adding 3 instead of 2 stars. My complaints are that it's so pricey here, the sandwiches are usually overstuffed (maybe dry) and hard to eat, and the staff is pretty indifferent and not super friendly. This is like my cursed hangover place but it's not a cheap one. Maybe the cream cheese spreads are your best bet here.

Usually a very nice venue, but often the baristas are outright dismissive and rude. Last time I was there I got put off by their music, and the time before the barista was having a loud melt down arguing with the other person.

Great Montreal style bagels that we picked up for a Christmas Day brunch. Tender, flavorful, and with a perfect crust from the wood burning oven. Would highly recommend.

On my visit to Philadelphia, the hotel did not have a laundry on site and had go off site. Came up on this spot close to the laundromat. It’s an amazing gem. You can get any bagel your mind could conjure and with great service. I had the plain sandwich which was nothing but plain with hot chocolate. Please stop by and give them a try!!!!

A poorly managed, over-priced chain bagel place. It's an absolute mess there on the weekends and they have run out of bagels before.

Used to come here a lot, almost every week. Lately (the past month or two) service has been really bad. There’s one person who, whenever they’re on the register, you know it’ll be at least a 15 minute wait just to order. Some staff have really bad attitudes, too. I stopped going after this one time recently I felt targeted and way worse leaving than when I entered. Food was good, it’s just not worth it. I’d rather just buy the ingredients and make it at home.

Honestly I used to love coming here. The staff were friendly and made the food with love. Unfortunately this past couple weeks the staff dealing with the iced coffees and register were being rude. Also they would work like they didn't want to be there. I'm a local and I love to support local restaurants but SPREAD needs to check on their team and how their customer service is being portrayed. You guys just lost a good customer !
