Suraya Restaurant in Philadelphia is a culinary delight, offering an authentic Lebanese experience in the heart of Fishtown. It’s known for its exquisite food and perfect service, with a cozy ambiance that’s ideal for any occasion. The menu celebrates traditional Lebanese dishes with a modern twist, and the desserts are particularly renowned. While prices are a bit premium, the quality and the dining experience are well worth it. The patio area is a city favorite, providing a unique outdoor setting with a separate bar. Suraya isn’t just a meal; it’s a memorable dining event that’s definitely worth a visit.

Great experience! Great service! Great Ambience! Come hungry and keepan open mind!Parking: The paid parking lot was reasonable. On a street around behind the the same block that the restaurant is on. Google Map it first.

A stellar experience from start to finish. Our server, Morrigan, was friendly and knowledgable. Every dish was well thought through. And the decor & ambiance complements the concept brilliantly. It is obvious that this team knows what they’re doing and cares deeply about excellence. Will be back whenever we’re in the city.

We celebrated our daughter’s 30th birthday at Suraya and had a fabulous dinner. The wide variety of food was delicious and service was just the right balance of attentive and unobtrusive. We’ve spent much of the last year traveling in Europe and North America and this meal is easily in the top 10. For a special night out in Philadelphia I can’t imagine a better place!

Amazing food and atmosphere. Servers were so helpful. Very knowledgeable and vegan friendly. We came for brunch and had a great experience I highly recommend the mushrooms, I was trying so hard to guess the spices they used and was shocked by how delicious it was.

This restaurant has been top-rated in Philly for a while, and for good reason. Great food, great tastes, and great vibes. You walk in, and immediately there is a small marketplace you can buy various items including candles! It can get very busy, but if you book ahead of time, it should be manageable. The food is definitely the star of the restaurant as everything was delicious. Definitely would try different appetizers and the kabobs were all seasoned well! Vibe can be intimate at certain parts of the restaurant, or trendy the rest. Highly recommend!Rating: 9.5/10

I have Lebanese step-family. Every summer, we would go visit my grandmother and I have long considered her food the gold standard. That's often what middle eaten food is: traditional. If you stray from tradition, it usually gets worse, not better. Suraya manages to bend tradition just enough and in just the right ways to surprise and delight those familiar with traditional Lebanese cuisine. It is glorious.Pretty much everything I've eaten here has been the best of that type of food which I have eaten. Their labneh is the best labneh. Etc.The Fatteh is one of the top 20 or so best tasting dishes I've ever eaten in my life, and I regularly hunt down the world's top restaurants.Service is great, atmosphere is very nice, but I almost don't care. You could sit me on a rock in a field and I would love this food.

We went for our second time (dinner last year and brunch this time) and this place never ceases to amaze. The service was spectacular both times with friendly staff. The food is outstandingly fresh, well prepared and presented and good size portions. There are many different spots to eat from their daily walk in cafe to the bar, chef's counter, dining area and the garden. Prices seem a little high but you will walk out full and satisfied. Can't wait to bring friends!

Ok...so first time at this restaurant. I have to say they knocked it out of the park. The cocktails were wonderful and the food is as authentic as it gets. I'm not an expert in Lebanese food but after doing the tasting menu ? I feel like I am. Three things: (1) make reservations (2) be very hungry because there is a lot of food and (3) bring $$$ because it's a pricey place to dine.Parking: Parking is an issue.

Food was good, but there was an 3% employee wellness surcharge, lol. They are trying to shame the customer for the cost of living crisis. Employees are already underpaid and require a tip which already an absurd practice, but putting a fee on top of the tip is just ridiculous. Just increase your menu prices by 3%It's a high end restaurant, it's not like the food prices being 3% more is going to make me not go here. Why bait and switch the customers.Absurd practices like this makes me eat at home now. Why is everything a fee.

i love the food. it was super delicious. i liked the atmosphere. i will go back again. i just wish the fattah was in bed of yogurt. Instead, it was just a little on top. lebanese food is meant to be in abundance, so when it's made as a tapas, it takes away its essence. please reconsider. but kebab with parsley and onion was delicious.
