I am a long time fan of this place, first tried it when I was 7, I’m now 24. Food is impeccable, as always. Today I had a disappointing experience here. I go to the pick up counter, tell my name to the woman there. Starts cordially, then when she went over to the pickup orders, she looked at my receipt for awhile then came over to give me the bag. I put my hand up to reach for it, but she instead throws it on the counter indignantly and says “there ya go” in a sort of annoyed voice. My feeling is, because I didn’t tip, she became indignant towards me. I believe strongly in tipping delivery drivers, waiters and waitresses. But I was there for a pickup order. I drove 35 minutes to, and from to pick it up, and no one served me beyond making my food that I ordered. Tipping culture is becoming insane, this was unacceptable.
Good could be better, didn't like the potato salad really. It was ok. I bout a salmon po boy another time it was just ok.I love the environment, nice and clean and the bake beans were good and beef brisket was good.

Excellent bbq restaurant. Husband had ribs, he loved them. I had a pulled pork sandwich, I think the pork needs to be less bulky. Oh and everything tastes like vinegar, I personally think it's a bit too much. Sides are great, had mac and cheese and baked beans. I can't give 5 stars because of the overbearing taste of vinegar.

Boy Oh Boy.... Has the quality of food gone done at this place. Every order just taste worse. Workers here must be getting lazier by the day. Why a pick up order takes 45 minutes to an hour is astonishing. I mean every item in this store is pretty much pre cooked already and served from a steam table So why such the long wait? 10 years ago the service and food was 10 times better But I guess that's what happens when owners finally get that big pay out. No way Mike Robin and Debbie would allow this product to be pushed and served to they're customers 10 years ago But then again now a days people eat anything and don't care. Definitely not the neighborhood Sweet Lucy's we all once knew. Also whoever is doing the hiring now a days needs to be fired themselves. These workers are rude and ignorant You don't like your job then go somewhere else. Someone needs to open up a new BBQ spot in the northeast Cause this place just ain't it anymore.P.O.V
