Love the hoagies, its much cheaper compare to other places in south philly. Great location since its right in Temple University campus. Really exciting to see a Vietnamese food court here.

An unsatisfactory Pho noodle experience, with overly excessive sweetness and a lack of freshness. Additionally, there is an extra 75-cent charge when using credit or debit cards for payment.

So I Typically order the tofu hoagie from Tais which is amazing and I've gotten many friends hooked on it, but I thought that I should try their tofu veggie pho and see how I like it.First of all, it was arguably the best noodle soup I have ever had. Full of tofu, cabbage, bell pepper, onion, and broccoli, as well as the add on sauces, lemon, and Thai basil, it was super filling and made me wish I had more. The broth is light but flavorful and the Thai basil had a bit of an anise and minty flavor go it, but when I added the tomato sauce/base to the soup, the Thai basil became spicy almost. So this dish is one that will fill you up and repeatedly change flavors10/10 recommend

The best damn grilled Chicken Pho in the city of Philadelphia. I graduated 3 years ago and I still crave this soup . Nobody in Philly makes a better bowl

Bourbon chicken $9.5: it says it’s the best seller, but I don’t think it’s that good. The chicken is definitely over cooked, it’s burnt and dry.The overly burnt bourbon chicken is actually one of their best-selling dishes...the chicken is very burnt and burnt...but the salad is very generous.

A campus staple. Quite busy during the lunch rush but the wait wasn't horrendous. Vast menu. Cute little owner. Regarding the Pho Sate though, I had this for the first time since my freshman year and it's just as good as I remember! A good portion and generous amount of meat. Broth is amazing. If you every want to switch it up a bit from the regular pho, pho sate has a more flavorful broth in my opinion. I never had Tai's regular pho though.

I have been going here for years and it is my go to spot. My favorite dishes here are the bourbon chicken and Mala beef The wait time is long during the lunch rush but that is because they cook each order on the wok, definitely worth it for fresh food. I usually call in and order ahead during peak times and no issues.

Food here never disappoints. I got 2 orders of their steamed dumplings and it was delicious!! The sauce brings the flavor to the next level and if you top it off with their half and half drink, you've got the perfect study break bite

I'm an Alumnus of Temple and have been a long time fan of Tai's. One of my favorite meals is to get 2 orders of summer rolls. I think these rolls are SO UNDERRATED and have to get some whenever I am in the area. One order comes with 2 and a special peanut sauce and is great hand food when you're busy and need to run. But I mainly get it because I like feeling light and not too sleepy (otherwise i'd never get work done lol). You know they're made fresh daily because the wrappers are very supple (otherwise they'd be slightly tough/dry), the lettuce is nice and green, and the shrimp (big) and fresh.

First time here at Tai's Viet Food. I ordered the pork hoagie and it was at a reasonable price. Good staff and have my expectation high. The hoagie was good, but I was expecting a bit more filling and less char.
I love your boba
