This place was packed when we went on a Saturday night. We were told it would be a 90 minute wait so we went to misconduct bar which was basically next door. Luckily we didn't have to wait 90 mins and it was only like a 30 minute wait we had. This place is black owned and is known for their interesting cheesesteaks. They have an oxtail and jerk chicken on the menu. The bathroom had an interesting vibe. There was a sign that said "taste me" but was surrounded by a fake plant wall. The bathroom definately felt like a new age interior decorator decked it out. I ended up getting a jerk chicken with mushrooms. I really loved the cheesesteak. They had cooper sharp cheese which was really good. They cooked the meat, peppers, and onions perfectly. The meat was marinated perfectly as well. The fries that my friends and I split were pretty tasty as well. I don't really like fries but these were amazing. They had cheese on them that just melted in your mouth. The drinks at this place were pretty strong as well. It was interesting that they put a cute light in it. The only thing I didn't like about this place was how loud the music was. It was a couple decibels louder than I would have liked it. Regardless this place had amazing cheesesteaks and that's all that matters!

One of the best vegetarian cheesesteaks I’ve had, already been back a few times! A lot of places use alternative or fake meat which I am not a fan of, so I’ve been on the search for a veggie one that doesn’t and this one is perfect. My partner got the beef one and said it’s one of the best ones he’s had too. We’ve already brought several friends here as well. They use sesame free buns if you have an allergy. Great for dinner or late night!Vegetarian options: Great veggie option without alternative/fake meatDietary restrictions: VegetarianSesame seeds allergy

Its a YES for me! The best Jerk Chicken philly in town! I am loving the whole vibe! We ordered the jerk chicken philly, the jolly rancher cocktail and a margarita and everything was poppin! The service was great and the vibe was lit, good music and philadelphia has the best people around! This place is definitely a HIT!

I've been 3 times now. Once during the week at lunch time and twice on the weekend. I think the quality is better during the week. I LOVE the kiosks they make things much better. The young ladies packing the orders were actually nice tonight. Also they got the DJ to announce the orders were done tonight and that's a big HELP. I'll be back, as long as they keep these cheesesteaks poppin ?

Why are there so many employees yet nobody calls out orders?? I’m waiting, they didn’t even attempt to figure out whose food it is they just sit the shxt on the counter and you have to watch like a hawk and approach them. The owner must be thirsty to continuously allow this. This has happened just about ever time I’ve visited! More than 3 times. They all are sitting behind the damn counter fake working. Maybe 2 were and the rest just there taking up space!

The food was really good. That's what they have right! The service was also good. No complaints there and the ambiance is really cute. That being said, the prices are really high imo, for cheesteaks and drinks. Especially in a city like Philadelphia where you can get a cheestekak ANYWHERE and cost a lot less. We got the $30 oxtail steak and a regular steak and 2 drinks and spent over $100. That's crazy to me. That's just my opinion. But I love that's it's a black business; does it have to be so expensive..? ‍

Came for happy hour on a weekday, the drinks and prices are fantastic. Beware that there is no happy hour food menu and the portions are pretty large so every cheesesteak is pretty expensive; it's usually a pretty shareable portion. The crowd was definitely diverse and more in the 30s age range. The staff was nice and the service was good enough.. it's definitely worth checking out, so stop on by! I didn't try the oxtail, but I heard good things.

Horrible service, I ordered to go and they act as if it was problem when I asked could they make it when I was ready to leave , didn’t come back to our table the whole time but the bartenders are really nice . The so called “owner” have horrible customer service skills . He wasn’t even the owner he was lying .

The workers here were fantastic, unfortunately the steak sandwich wasn’t. Dried out and over cooked. Nothing here worked, the drinks weren’t good either. The drinks were definitely overpriced. This is why most people are starting to not support their local businesses because the businesses don’t care about the customer. Won’t be open long!

The restaurant was very nice, the staff was very friendly and the food was very good. The wait time on the other hand was probably the worst ever. I placed my order at 12:09 pm, which is 9 minutes after they open and got my food at 1:10 pm. There was only one cook on the line and the second cook arrived at 12:45, which probably explains the long wait. It did not look like any food was prepped, almost as if the staff arrives just before opening to make food. The food was delicious and their heroes are loaded with meat. I live in Montgomery county, so a 1 hour wait for food puts a seriois dent in my commute. The wait time prevents me from giving 5 stars for my experience. If I am in the area again, I will try the oxtails. I didn't do the oxtails this time because of the price, but if the amount of meat they put on my beef steak and jerk chicken heroes is any indication, I will definitely drop the extra money for the oxtails.

Salmon cheesesteak is bangin. Limited seating so be prepared to wait or try a less popular time of day.
